Hi Guys,

Since i got my PER last month. I have renewed my boys passport. How do i update NDVO about it ?? Scan and email should do i suppose..?!

The email address will be much appreciated along with any other info .. 8)

Once you get request for MR/RPRF, you can update NDVO and their contact info should be there in that mail.

Guys who have used CC for payment,

I think it is a good idea to call up your bank and confirm to allow the transaction by CIC to pass through.
This is really required if you havent done any transaction of this value in the recent past as some of these might get block for confirmation to prevent fraud. Also, since the charge would be outside your country of regular usage.

I am sure most of you would have thought about this, but thought it put a reminder in case you havent..

What is the time frame for AoR?
Also, I had sent my PCC with application on May 23rd. The PCCs were obtained on March 2014. I believe they are valid for 6 months. So, should I start scrambling for new ones?

They are usually valid for 1 year, unless stated otherwise in the PCC. Don't scramble for one yet, wait for request of the same from your VO, especially if its only local PCC.

Got mail 3 hours back from CIC.

it states "Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship"

Is it the PER mail??????

File received date 16th May and CC charged on 26th Aug.

No brother, it is not wrong.

If for some people it takes long time to get file transfer notice, the average will increase. However, if some applicants get MR shortly, the MR period will decrease.

Exg: My file transfer after 80 days. Your file transfer after 40 days. So our average is 60 day ((80+40)/2) for file transfer. Later on you got MR after 10 days of file transfer. So the average period from PER to MR is 40+10=50 (did not consider my time as I don't know how long it could take to get MR for me).

However, when I will get MR, it will be adjusted. For example, I got it after 15 days of file transfer. So the average period from PER to MR will be (80+40+10+15)/2 =117.5 days.

So, as the number of applicants will increase into different stages, the average will represent true picture. Due to the lesser number of applicants in a particular stage, sometime it may provide confusing number.

Dear NDVO guys,

In the SS >>>average processing time by VO for NDVO

The " PER to processing started" is 46 and
" PER to MR" is 43.

How is it possible? Is it calculated wrong?
