cimatu, This could go either ways - there have been cases where the docs were attached to original application, and there were cases, when it wasn't. Lets hope for the best! Hopefully, you have done the following - 1. Send email to CIC with the details on both the application - First/Last Name...

I dont think anybody here can give a maximum waiting period but there have been cases where PER was received with a delay. Since the DD is encashed, its a positive sign :) hopefully you will get the notification soon as well...

I am not sure but to me it looks like - the people who have received emails for rejections might have sent enquiry emails for their applications and hence the response. I have no knowledge of having seen any such case but that is my gut feeling.
