Sorry, but I can't agree on this! Personally, I hold Master + MBA degrees and both were mentioned in ECA Summary.
Whatever the final score, I hope skquddusi overall score will allow him to get the 67 pts required wathever the score given by CIC for his education factor. In that way, the 21/22pts question would not become a real issue for him!!!

I believe with such high # of cases from NDVO they might have decided against AOR this year so effort / time could be saved for more productive work / working on the files instead.

I notice one thing from the NDVO MR group, almost 90% have the total point over 70. Most likely higher point holder are getting preference. This is just an observation don't get too excited.

It is NOT usually a case of their wanting things to be slow - it is all determined based on budgets allocated for CIC initiatives at the parliament level / ministry level

Unless more budgets are approved they will end up doing what best is possible with the current # of staff at their disposal

you are right. I wish they bring the best solution available, remembering the backlog happened several years ago. I have a friend still waiting after applying three years ago over Quebec. I know that province is somewhat different than others, but still it's devastating. Determining people should consider that.

They are doing it fast these days!
Looks like the number of application they are receiving have reduced and hence faster processing time.

International courier is the best option, especially if the time is critical.

Typically they take around 15 days to complete evaluation. Select international courier for faster delivery in 2-3 days. Else be prepared to wait for 20-30 additional days to get the report.

Letter From the company

Hi,

i am a software engineer for the last 6 years(currently in Newyork, USA) . I have collected all documents except Experience letter from the company .I have requested for experience letter with HR , but they have given a respose like this

"We do not provide detail experience letters, we provide only employment verification letters mentioning the purposes like for visitor visa, credit card, loan letter.

This has come as a response to my service request in the official service request page of Company HR.(I can take a print out of that)

How do i go ahead ? Can anyone give an answer?

Is there any of your supervisor or senior can give you a reference letter with job description with his full details & signature? Then it will be fine with a cover letter explaining the above.

Thats is great , we are planning to send some docs to Delhi embessy which includes two SDM affidavits and one coly of BC which we after sending the file , although Lawyer said they considered your file as complete but still to make thing more clear we are sending them hopefully they will attach them to the file

As suggested by seniors, if you cannot get a reference letter in the format(with all the details) as required by CIC, it is best to get additional reference letter from a senior colleague or a supervisor certifying all the required details with your roles and responbiliities on a plain paper. Include his/her business card. Also include all other documentations like pay stubs, deputation letters, promotion/appraisal letters, etc that would help substantiate your employment.

Retain this email communication from your HR. You are going to need it.

First - If possible, have your supervisor or colleague attest for your duties on a Plain A4. Include their Business Card (in original) or a copy of their employee ID.

Next, take a print of the entire email communication between you and the HR which states their reason for not providing you with the experience letter.

Then, include all the supporting documents you can - Employment Contract, Payslips, Appraisals etc.

Include a cover letter explaining the reason you could not provide the ref. letter and indicate that the email communication with the HR's refusal to do so has been attached as a justification of the same. Also mention all the other supporting documents you have included in lieu of the exp.letter.

You are good to go.

Out of the box thinking.

Anyways. Have got the correct tracking no. for DHL from the consultant and now tracking shows docs recd at Sydney (correct address) on 2nd Sept. 2014 at 14.24. Docs have been recd by DAN. Checked with DHL also and they have confirmed the details along with NOC which is correct this time.

Will update ss by evening. Finally some peace of mind.
