My passport was issued in 2006 and yet PSK at ITO Delhi issued me a PCC the same day.... within a few hours actually. I guess the PSK rules keep on changing from one state to another.

In one of the passport forum, I found people complaining about delay in PCC issuance from Chandigarh PSK even when their passport was reissued a few months back. They were told that their respective police stations had not sent them the updated PCC report and PCC has to be done again which seems ridiculous considering the fact that they have already dispatched the passport. How can they dispatch the passport if PCC report is not received?

If the passport issuing office and PCC office are the same, In such cases, the PCC is provided upfront.

Hi,

Out of curiosity, i am posting this message. i have sent my docket for NOC 1123 category on 10th August via DHL and the same was delivered to "NOVA SCOTIA AREA " on 13th August but i don't see the name of the person who received in proof of delivery. Is this something unusual? Do you guys think i should get in touch with DHL or CIC to check the status?

"6 months" rule is written clearly on PSK website. i guess my RPO follows it strictly

In case different, then police verification is required to issue PCC

My app had some mistakes....i just mentioned 2 year addreses instead of 10 years.

Sent correction letter..not sure attached those letter or ignore the mistakes.

Please update the spreadhseet or let me know how to do it.

But some people say it is risky to give card number so what do u suggest

And when i am filling up the CVV last column stay blank so is that ok ??

it is risky, no doubt as you have to disclose CVV. Also CC can be blocked in future for whatever reason by bank. This has already happened to a member here.

DD is safer as it is prepaid and no chance that it can bounce, unless validity is breached.

You can leave last column blank for CVV in case you still want to pay by CC
