You CANNOT choose anywhere in Quebec nor can you land anywhere in Quebec. However once you land and get your PR card you can go anywhere you want.

Also I was wondering if working with a US bank will help my application ? I have 3yr NOC1112 and after that i'm working in a managerial post with a big US bank.... Will my most recent work experience play a part in giving an extra positive thrust to my application or is the review more or less objective ?

It won't help you at all. You will get the same number of points for your experience as indicated on the chart for that amount of experience.

After the local visa office contacts you, inform them of the baby. Congrats on both baby and PER!

Hello All,

well I am new to this forum, would appreciate if someone can please answer my query.

I have got PER and my ECAS status has also got updated to application received, however my first name (both on email and ECAS) is mentioned incorrectly (one alphabet missing).

I have crosschecked with the docs that i had scanned and kept with me and on all forms/docs the first name was correct.

Could you please let me know how to get this rectified?
will it make a difference in later stages also?

Can u please share ... Which name / surname u r using to check ecas .
Ur full name (which is one letter short) or surname ?
