I'm very concerned now as I didn't provide any additional documents for the jobs I got the reference letter....
I'm applyingo for NOC 1123 and my current employer gave me a complete letter, with all duties described + letterhead, stamp....everything! So I though it was not necessary to indlcude any toher additional info....was I worng???? :'( :'(

I provided all additional information to the case that the employer didn't give me the reference letter.

I'm in panic now as I have all this info but though it was not necessary

Here's what I think:

CIC is looking for two things:

1) Whether the job that you claim to have performed is bona fide (genuine)

2) Whether the duties that you performed "substantially" meet the job description as described by HSRDC

The first criteria they establish by the volume of evidence that you provide. Examples include job offer letter, pay stubs, legal documents that show that the company has contributed to your social security account, etc.

The second one is very critical. The CIC officer reviewing your application must be satisfied that you have performed a "substantial" amount of duties that you're claiming for in your designated occupation. This they primarily establish this by checking whether the duties that you claim to have performed as described by your reference letter "strongly" matches the duties of your designated NOC.

It seems to me that you got dinged because the reference letter did not "substantially" match the duties performed description of NOC 1112.

Dear Seniors,
1. Is it mandatory to put a reference number on the above of a experience certificate?
2. If so, then what should i do if my company doesn't have the practice?
2. Is it the reference number on my appointment letter or the release letter that is needed?

Thanks in advance.. :)

Hi Guys ,

In the order of documents : fsw2014.info/cic-full-application-package/

It doesnt say anything about medical.

When are we supposed to do the medical exam ?

Thanks

Sorry to hear this.

I sent nothing other than reference letters and got PER. So we can say that they don't need anything else, though other supporting documents could be helpful.

The problem with your application wasn't enough documents, it was that the reviewer did not take from your letters that you performed enough of the duties to be considered employed under 1112. The lead statement (top paragraph of the page, what you might think of as the introduction) and the job duties are most important. The reviewers do not understand technical jargon or abbreviations specific to the fields (especially finance and IT) and you cannot assume that they know what an employee does in any particular NOC. They are looking for the key words contained in the NOC description itself, without it being too obvious of a cut and paste job. It is a tick the boxes exercise.

Good luck with your second application.
Mean we have to copy same duties in Primary NOC

1.NO
2.DO nothing
3.NO...its not needed.
Don't confuse reference letter with reference number.....they are 2 different things...reference number is not applicable in FSW.
Cheers.

First off, don't panic. I am yet to read of a forum member who's been rejected because he/she didn't provide additional supporting documents (work contracts, pay stubs, etc) that established the authenticity of the work experience that the applicant is claiming. For future reference, please see section 12 of the document checklist. It says additional supporting documents may include:
copies of work contracts
copies of pay stubs, etc
So, it would have been best if you'd provided the above-mentioned.
Additionally, I just noticed that there are very few applicants (7) in your NOC (1123). Since there are very applicants in your NOC, they may be lenient.
So, keep calm. Hope for the best. AND PRAY!
Good luck!

Relax, it might pass since someone here said that provided only the letter and got PER.

Keep calm! Your NOC is cold as Canada, in the worst case you can reapply!
