Any comments on when 1112 and 2174 (top 2) will be filled this year? Last year when cap was only 300, they were announced filled by CIC on August 21st although as per SS the last applications accepted were delivered to CIC on May 27th.

Document checklist specifies copies. Local VO may request originals later.

guys is there any email of CIC,i dont think they wil reply to me on same email from where i get NER.i already send 10 emails.

Thx guys. my documents are ready at last. Applying under 0113. I have 1,5 years experience. But i dont have any certificates or couple years of experience as stated in cic website as employer requirements. I do have business diploma and +1,5 years of experience only. Do you think it will be enough?

If you have enough points to make the pass mark and you meet all the other minimum requirements you are fine.

I have just received an email from Bucharest VO that my application is transferred to Bucharest and they will continue processing there.

Please update my status. 8)

However, They are requesting PCC from each country where I lived more than 6 months. For me, I live in Angola for 3 years but I can NOT get PCC from there. How can I explain this to the VO? Why cant you get it?will this affect my application? Yes it surely will affect your application as your security will be pending. If you do not comply with their request in given time frame then they might reject your file. No scaring you but true. I am really worried about that.

please I need your expertise in this.

Unfortunately,ive send the original copy of my birth certificate,cant remember if a notarized and translated in English document was attached within..would it still effect the status of my application.

It's amazing not to remember something like that.

If there is not a notarized translation of your birth certificate into English, accompanied by an affidavit from the translator, and a copy of the original Arabic birth certificate, your application will be returned as incomplete. This requirement is stated very clearly in the Guide.

I was suppose to lodge last July 30 but due to UNEXPECTED circumstances, I have moved it to this months end.

I did not get the scores I needed on the IELTS I took last July 10. I got all 7s. I did not expect this because I got all 8s last year and it was even ACAD! I felt robbed, mugged, and whatever synonym you could think of which describes losing money. :'( I needed the 2 points... If only my listening was 8. :'(

I moved on and rescheduled to retake the exam this Saturday (Aug 16). Wish me luck! I now have trauma in the listening section.

A) Basic eligibility
We will only process your FSW application if you have:

at least one year of continuous and paid (full-time or an equal amount in part-time) work experience
in a single occupation,
within the last 10 years,

I guess it has to be continuos work your work exp a+b is 9 months and c+d is 55 months(if there is no gap) therefore you can county only 55 months
It should come under 4-5 years bracket which is 13 points

No. You are confusing the minimum NOC requirement with the points calculation. They are 2 different things.

To be eligible to applying under a certain NOC, you need the minimum of one year of continuous and paid work experience in that NOC.

However you will receive points for work any NOC (even NOCs not on the eligible list) that is at skill type 0 or skill level A or B.

In your example, suppose you want to apply under NOC 0000. If a+b for 9 months is 0000 and c+d for 55 months is in 9999, you're not eligible to apply under 0000. But if c+d for 55 months is in 0000 and a+b for 9 months is in 9999, you are eligible to apply under 0000, and your total credit for work experience will be 64 months.
