2 month gap

Ompanh d 45 months

will b calculated as whole 64 months or not

A) Basic eligibility
We will only process your FSW application if you have:

at least one year of continuous and paid (full-time or an equal amount in part-time) work experience
in a single occupation,
within the last 10 years,

I guess it has to be continuos work your work exp a+b is 9 months and c+d is 55 months(if there is no gap) therefore you can county only 55 months
It should come under 4-5 years bracket which is 13 points

Hi Seniors,

First of all I would thank all the members who are supporting and sharing their views and experience during the course of Canada immigration process.

I am in process of filling my application under 2281-Computer network technicians to CIC.
I have a question regarding " the number of complete application counted towards 1000 sub-caps" . I understand that this is the applications revieved by CIC ie)approx may 15 applications.

If I file in a week what are the chances of my application. By then will 1000 caps will be reached?

Does anyone have the experience of getting the WES report by Canadian standard mail ? Is it reliable and how many days does it take from completion of evaluation to the delivery of report ? Thanks for your kind response.

I get WES by Canadian standart mail, but within Canada. Although i paid for overnight delivery and they gave me track number, i still got my report in 4-5 days as standart delivery. If I were I wouldnt use standart mail. Especially when you are outside of Canada. You can save 100$ but it cauld cause you problems with originals of your diploma. Does it worth it?

My take:

Continuity has to be with respect to the occupation. That is, a person should not have switched to a different occupation, while one may switch to a different company or location.

After fulfilling the minimum requirement of 1 year continuous experience in the main NOC, all other experience, in whichever NOC or whatever duration are all counted towards points calculation.

But i dont have any certificates or couple years of experience as stated in cic website as employer requirements. I do have business diploma and +1,5 years of experience only. Do you think it will be enough?

You say that you have one 5 year experience, and also say that you don't have any couple years of experience. Please clarify.

This is with regard to my spouses address history and personal details :

His YOB is 1984. So should we mention his details from 2004 or from when he was 18 ? Kindly suggest.

Does it mean that one can claim even 3 or 6 months exp in other NOCs?
