Thanks everyone. I am very happy.

I would like to share some info with you:

- I have sent plain paper reference letters, without business cards.
- I did not have any cover letter.
- my duties match about 40-50% the ones from the NOC
- A proof of funds, I sent internet printed statement on my investments (treasury bills) + a web page from Central Bank of Canada showing the conversion to CAN

I really hope everyone of you get PER as soon as possible.

Hi-

I applied under NOC 1111 and my application received on 12th may, but i have not got any notification and nothing is charged from by card.

Any idea, how much time it usually takes

my primary noc was 1114 in that i have 5 + years exp.and 1112 i have 2+ year exp.
as per my understanding if you have experience in any other 50 noc it will count in your total experience.

CIC rejection letter they clearly mention that they cannot award any point for my 2 years exp in 1112 coz i didnt provide job desciption on company letter head.it was self written notrized letter.

If you have 5+ years in 1114, you would get 13 points for that. Did you need 15 points to make the pass mark, i.e. you needed to add in the 1112 experience to make it over the 6 year point? Or do you mean if CIC had not made a mistake on your IELTS, you still would have made the pass mark?

You will get points for any work in skill type 0 or skill level A or B of the NOC, even if it is not one of the 50 eligible occupations, but you MUST demonstrate your job duties and they CANNOT be self-attested. This is stated explicitly in item 12 of the document checklist.

Better get a letter and prepare another application in a hurry.

Contact to CIC email ID immediately....write "URGENT on the front of ur subject....Then attach/ make the NER email on the chain mail of the body....Then raise ur issue and request to them for reconsider/recalculate ur points....State ur UCI also....

I have a query regarding change of my passport.
1. When should I let CIC know about the change in passport. Mu current passport is valid till 31 jan 2015 and I am applying for a new passport in october.
2. I am residing in USA and the nxt step inshaALLAH will be to ask for MR. Do i need to send the new passport information wit the MR?
3. Can I send the new passport with the previous passport (that information is given in the application) while they ask for the passport.
4. Can you please elaborately explain the procedure?
