If u have 1 year exp then u will get 9 points. otherwise u wont get any points for the particular NOC which you are going to apply

my question is if i have experience of 12 months in one company and than i have experience of 4 months in another 3 companies each..

So my total experience will be of 2 years so in that case will i get points for total 2 years...

Just to update you guys that CIC doesn't give any points for my previous experience of over 2 years. I attached offer letter, confirmation letter, and release letter. i was unable to provide job description on company letter head. I submit notarized self written JD letter. That they didn't recognize as a proof of job to be consider for a point.

I think these days CIC is rejecting applications on minor issues. we all knows worldwide ones you left the company it next to impossible to get any job related letters on company letterhead.

I hope this will help you in your documents preparation.

Still I am unable to understand how they give me 20 points in language test. that result in rejection by 1 point.

Major problem right there. Self-attested job duties are unacceptable. This is not a minor point. It is the crucial point of this whole program.

Unfortunately you may not have known about this forum before you submitted your application otherwise we would have helped you find an alternative for the official letter on company letterhead.

I suggest if you wish to apply again you get a letter on plain paper from someone who knew your job duties such as a supervisor or close colleague.

At that time u will get 11 points but make sure all the 2years u worked for that particular NOC. (it doesn't matter how many companies u worked)

As per the Step 1 of passport request if there are any changes in family composition we need to inform visa office.

One of the condition from step 1 does applies to us i.e. "Do you intend to give birth or adopt a child prior to becoming a permanent resident?"

We are pregnant and expecting the baby around last week of October or first week of November this year i.e. 2014.

So, My question is

Can we send our passports to CPC-Ottawa Visa Office without waiting with the changes details or do we have to wait till the birth of baby ?

The PPR e-mail you got from CPC-O contained EXPLICIT INSTRUCTIONS on what to do if you are expecting a change in your family composition. Why are you asking repeatedly on this forum what you should do when CPC-O themselves have given you instructions? Inform them of the situation immediately and they will tell you what you need to do.
