I guess, who signed your reference letter, his designation and contact details have been provided also. So, business card is redundant here.

I got all my reference letters on company letter head and i got business cards of all my managers

shall i staple with reference letters or there is no need business cards

I still haven't received my application back, just got a reply to my earlier mail requesting them to update me the status of my application.
In their reply, they have just mentioned that my application was returned as it was deemed incomplete.

According to me, the reasons are following:
1. Birth certificate without my name on it, although i had attached its translation & affidavit from translator
Now to take care of this mistake, i have also attached my 10th class mark-sheet which has my name, mother & father's name & DOB
2. Reference letter with only 20-30% duty matching with NOC description
previously my company had explained my duties very generically causing such low % matching, so now i am getting a reference letter from my senior with 60-70% matching but on plain a4 sheet with his visiting card & supporting docs

hello nskatcv...i went through the instruction guide n studied various cases..one who have completed masters can send eca for masters level or lower...so it should be fine...may b saurabk1 did not send any eca n got rejected due to missing eca..

The instruction guide says, on one of the sample case questions..

If Deng studied outside of Canada and obtained a foreign educational credential at the Master's level

Then he would submit proof of his completed foreign educational credential and an original ECA report indicating that it is equivalent to a completed Canadian educational credential at the Master's level or lower.

My understanding is that this only means CIC believes foreign Master's can at best be equal to Canadian Master, or lower, never higher.

Hey guys..got my PER today

App received on 7th may and CC charged on 2nd july.

Just in case it helps anyone..
only 1 ref letter provided on company letter head.
2 ref letters on plain A4 paper
Only offer letter submitted for the current company

Letterheads usually have company's contact details, not the manager's. His contact information should be under his signature, and that's all you need. Business cards are just someone's idea, not CIC requirement. If the manager has a card, he can also write his number (or at least email) on the letter. What is the issue with that ?

They're running, but very slowly
I've already made a bunch of workarounds to ensure the spreadsheet runs properly within the resource limits imposed by Google, but it looks like it still couldn't handle yesterday's PER shower very well and started throwing random errors. So I had to limit statistics update to each 8 hours.

If you would like the updates to happen more often than that, let me know and I'll think what I can do. There are still a lot of ways to improve it

When someone asks, you should just say, "Who am I? I am the a$$-kicker who made the spreadsheet."

Finally PER received exactly after 3 months. Application date 07th May. CC charged on 20th June

7th May was possibly the biggest day for application receipts by CIC.

Dear friends,

In all the forms, except the main generic form in which we have to validate and bar codes are generated, if we make a change and print only a single page for a particular form, does it make a difference!? I mean, if after taking print out, I make a change in say page 2 of 3 of 003e form and take print of only page 2 does it change any code etc at bottom of page or I can only replace that page and that'll be good. Slightly stupid Q but will help. Thanks!!

If you change that form you must re-validate! And print all bar codes again!
