The reference letter from employers, do we have to attach the original letter (On the company letter head) or a copy of this letter has to be attached and original may be provided later if asked for?

u can use original if u can get another easily... i m using one original (current employer) and one copy (past employer)

Omarxp4 mentions in the mail received by him here Visa expiry is mentioned after 1 year only? Is this how it goes normally? I thought they'll stamp 5 year visa initially.

PR Visa is usually issued for one year from the medical request date buddy,.....

Hello! can anyone from here can clarify to me what does "in a single occupation," means?..

Because my previous employer provided me an COE with two title or designation eg..Estimator/Cad Draftsman.. with corresponding JD stating my works as an estimator & as an CAD Draftsman.

I am applying for 2234 Construction Estimator.. does this kind of documents will be a problem in my application?

First of all there is no need of the "ORIGINAL BIRTH CERT"...Its only -COPY...

Have u sent copy of ur wife's BC with the app package?

Only copies of Birth Certificate needs to be submitted . Not originals.

Query:

I've been working as a full-time in-house translator for 8 consecutive months since January this year and worked as a freelance (part-time) translator for several translation agencies at the same time from December 2012 to December 2013. Basically, up to now I haven' got the required one-year full time experience and meanwhile my part-time experience does not add up to 1560 hours, however I'm sure my part-time work experience is equivalent to 4 month of full-time work experience.

Does my work experience make me eligible for the skilled worker program?

Basically, will my 8-month full time experience and nearly one-year part time experience (equivalent to nearly 6-month full time) be considered as "one-year" work experience by CIC?

I think it is not safe to say that you would be eligible right now. It depends on how CIC looks at it.

I have a better idea: translators is a very cold NOC. It will not fill up, probably not even 10%. Wait until you have a full 1 year at your current full-time in-house job, then you are guaranteed to meet that requirement. Apply after that. You will be fine.

Hey guys. Feeling very anxious :, should i have hopes and wait or give up? I sent my application under NOC 0311, Healthcare manager category and it was received by one David on the 13th of June 2014. When i check the spreadsheet from the Canadavisa office, i can see one application was received under the same NOC around the same time. Being selfish and hoping its mine ;D. does this mean anything? I have not heard anything from them. Since i made payments through a Bank draft and my bank cannot share information on whether it was cashed or not i am desperate and need to get information. please heeeelllllppppp!!! Is there a way i can confirm if i am successful or not this early? Should i just pray and wait? ??? :-\ :-\ :-\ I believe it will be 2 months ON August 13th..

Don't be anxious. CIC's cap page only shows applications that have received PER. No other source of information is reliable, though this forum's spreadsheet is a good educated guess.

As a 13th June applicant, you have at least another month to wait before CIC even opens your application.

Just sit tight and you are fine.

Hi everyone.

My application was received on 5.7 and was charged on 6.12 but not PER yet.

Lately a lot of applicants received on 5.7 got their PER who have later fee charged date like 6.16/6.17.

I just want to know is that normal to receive PER later than other applicants with later fee charged date even with the same NOC?

Is there any possibility that the email from CIO is lost somehow?
