Based on the above scenario, you can say, ECAS update is not FIFO bases - rather it is random.

So get chilled. No updating of ECAS does not meant your application has been rejected.

Yes But My DD was taken by my agent and not able to trace it. without giving their personal information.

And By AUG 5th my DD will expire thats why I am worried.

Hi nraju2174,

You have hired the services of an agent. So, be after him and ask him the status and how come your DD is expiring on August 5. It is an international DD, so it should have validity of six months.
Finally, ask your agent to give you the copy of all documents, it will help you to overcome such issues and you will have better understanding of situation.

Thank you very much. One truly last Question ;D ;D ;D: do we have to turn in the matriculation (grade 9 and 10) result card also. We are turning in the higher secondary marksheet and result card (grade 11 and 12).

Matriculation certificate containing your full name , DOB, parents' name can be given in Lieu of Birth Certificate , if you don't already have one.

Dear I have one query

Im work in current company from last 7yr (NOC 0121 App recieved 22june).

I joined my current company in 2007 as assistant manager then promoted in 2009 as deputy manager and next yr agine promoted as manager.till date im manager

But im confused about my reference letter I included only following point:

In letter head I explained my current profile duties only that matched to noc0121 but rest of the profile I did not elaborate (duties) and date of joining and different-2 role I performed. And I missed to mentioned hours per week on ref letter

Big Concern !!! I have been informed by my bank's treasury friend that JP Morgan Chase Canada is closing its Nostro account in Canada in Mid September and will move to UK ... My DD was in favour of JP Morgan Chase Bank Canada ... I know my DD won't be encashed before November ... So now tell me what should I do now ...

He is saying he can cancel that DD and issue me a fresh DD but how can I tell all this to CIC ... What can I do , my file has already been recieved by them on Aug 01, 2014....

CIO told me over phone that my file has been returned because of IELTS expiry. I am yet to receive my file back. Probably I will get it within this week. Once I have my file in my hand, I would be in a better position to talk to these guys. Till then, I will prepare for my upcoming IELTS

I am sorry for your case. I have been following your case and maybe I have an explanation. I guess that the IELTS results expire by month and not by date (at least in the opinion of CIO's officers). What do you think?

Further, I have confirmed with Treasury & FI friend, he is saying last week they had a meeting with them and the JP Morgan bank has told they will not make any arrangement for transititional period and will cancel all the DDs that will come after september ...

However he said he can transfer directly to the Reciever General for Canada the requisite amount at any time in next two months via Wire Transfer , but will that work for me, I don't think so .... Don't know what to do ...

So even DD's are not safe

Well i have discussed it with a friend in treasury, he informed that different bank's follow different procedures, but it is possible that the DD is honored even if NOSTRO is closed. For this purpose, the bank needs to pass certain instructions/follow certain procedures. Therefore, tell your bank that replacement of DD is not a possibility but they should ensure that JP Morgan honor's the DD till its validity of 6 months. Although, such procedure may have to follow longer path of it is not presented by CIC during its validity period but have faith in Allah and tell your bank that replacement is not the option and they have to ensure that proper required corrective measures are taken.

As per my knowledge, and confirmed by my friend, usually banks have "cooling off period" in which it stops issuing new DD's but keep the NOSTRO operational for 3-6 months till expiry of validity/encashment of all pending payments. Seemingly, your banker is opting for easier way out by offering u replacement. Lemme know the local bank name, i have few friends in treasury.
