date of issue and expiry
photo, name , date and place of birth
pages showing ammendment in name, DOB, expiration etc..

Masters is 23 if it is assessed as a masters on your ECA.

Hey guys.
Wanted to confirm something after reading some of the posts... I have shown TD as proof of funds.. So I sent a TD balance certificate taken on banks letter head stating the TD no and available credit amount signed by authorized official. But I did not send the TD receipt.. Is it OK ??

TD= time deposit?

You can send the balance certificate or statement, that's enough. No need to send the TD receipt.

I hv applied thru a consultant, PCC not sent as consultant told pcc required after medical. But, after going thru this spreadsheet hv seen many already over with pcc. My Q is - should I wait as per the consultant or apply for pcc to avoid last minute rush and moreover if pcc valid for 1 yr then, my pcc will b valid. OR should I wait for PER no, then apply for pcc??

Also suggest or guide me as how to update my profile with all the details like all hv done. Not able to do . Pls help.

Just wanted to confirm one more thing if my case has not gone through then i believe a negative review mail should still be received?Am i correct?

Be patient, only a few of the 7th May applicants have received PER, most of us are still waiting.

However if an application is rejected, it will be returned by mail, no e-mail will be sent.

Shall I apply for PCC in India or Maldives,

If in India how much time will it take to get PCC from Passport Service Kendra

Do we need to be here in India and do we need to give our passport to them for 1 month

You need a PCC from anywhere you have lived for 6 months or more since you turned 18. So at a minimum you need both India and Maldives.

Just for everybody's information on GTiwana's case:

GTIWANA HAS SENT PHOTOCOPY OF WES AND NOTHING TO RELATE WITH JD OR MISSING OF WORD "FULL-TIME" - SO THE REJECTION.

He personally informed me about it once he got his package back from his relative in Canada to his home address at India.

So the only problem with the application was that the ECA was not an original? And there was no problem with the reference letters?

I am applying under 1114. I have 7 years of total experience and have 3 years of exp in 1114 in Bank. My bank has provided me reference letter on company letter head which is as follows:

This is to certify that Mr............... was working as ................. from Date- to date and was performing the following duties.

Job Duties.....


Authorized Signatory

But in this letter it is not mentioned that it was a full time job/ number of working hours. employer is not ready to mention working hours.

Though the job profile/designation is a managerial profile and is full time job.

is this letter sufficient ? as per document checklist reference letter must have number of hours worked.

Experts please advice

Hello seniors,

Need your help in two aspects

1) in the additional family info they ask you to fill the form in english as well as the native language. Do both the languages have to be on the same foem. My native language in urdu written fromright to left. Or we need to fill separate forms in urdu.
2) can u give me a sample of the work experience format required for mech engineer 2132. Our company has provided us with a bare minimum experience certificate simply stating the job title and date of joining.
3) should we submit our CV with the application because it substantiates our job description or do i need to work on the work experience

1. The only thing you need in your native language is your names. You can fill it out on the same form, though if you want to put all Urdu names on a separate form, I don't see why that would be a problem.
2. This one I can't help, 2132 people weigh in please?
3. No. They don't ask for a CV and it doesn't substantiate your job description because it is written by you. Don't include it.

HI friends....CIC received my application on july 4...and im waiting for PER....now my wife got pregnant....probably in medicals my wife will be carrying our baby...will it affect our medicals and processing? how much delay it will take? pls help me to know...i hope so many had the same situation..pls share your valuable informations

Well, now we know what you've been doing while waiting for PER... ;D Congrats!

What you'll do is, when your local VO contacts you, you'll need to update them on the pregnancy. You'll need to submit new forms to reflect the change in your family. Your wife can do medicals wearing a shield for her x-ray. The problem is that if a visa is issued before the child is born, you need to land before the birth or you won't be able to land with the baby. If you wait until the child is born to get your visas, you'll delay PR but at least you won't have a problem bringing the baby along with you.

I re-send my application on August 1, 2014 after I filled wrong Application fee ( CAD 500 instead of 550..That was stupid of me..)..

Any chance I will make it ? It is NOC 1112. My first application was recieved May 13, 2014 and They returned it Back to me the day before yesterday.

Is there anyway they consider to give a priority because it was a minor mistake ?

Your question has already been answered.

1. You will go in the queue with the applicants whose applications arrive the day your new applications arrive. You can't get back to May 13th priority.
2. Nobody knows when the cap will be filled.

I am new to this forum.
I sent my application against NOC code 2281 that was received on July 02.
By mistake I have written wrong immigration office in application form. I have written "CIC Nova Scotia" in immigration office.
Are they going to reject my application ?? Please help.
