First of all, Be +ve and focus on your AIM " Canadian PR" .. And send your file asap rather then thinking whether you will be in cap or not.

So don't think too much and Hit The Bull's-EYE

And one more thing if possible please try to get PCC, not mandatory but strongly recommended from CIC.

I heard from my consultant that PCC is required in the next stage when an authority letter is sent by Canadian office upon application acceptance.
Any views....
One more thing that I am residing in Saudi Arabia from past 7 years so does PCC from India too mandatory or not required?

Hello, I'm planning to apply for Federal Skilled Worker program by the end of August. There are two questions I wanted to ask:

1. Do I have enough time to apply? Will it be too late to apply?
2. I could not find details about the format of the 'Proof of Work Experience'? I had contacted one of the Immigration Consultancy, they told me that
the 'Proof of Work Experience' should be in a specific format, failing which my application would be rejected.
Is it important to hire a Immigration Consultant for filing our applications?

Don't hire a consultant.

What you need to proof your work experience are reference letters from present/past employers. The requirements for content of the letter can be found in the Guide (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp)and the document checklist. These letters will be evaluated against the job duty descriptions in the NOC to determine if your employment falls into one of the eligible NOCs.

CIC -> Immigration->Immigrate-> determine your eligiblity -> Come to Canada
and there answer all the questions

me and for all my friends, it shows not eligible, does it show eligible for anyone, if yes, what is your profile, trying to understand, what answer is making the difference.

Can someone plz share that which date applications are under review?

They are starting 13th May applications but none have been charged yet.

PERs are coming in for 7th May applications.

There might still be some applications under review from as early as 8th May.

Guys Please please need your advise urgently.. I have posted this multiple times now but no reply yet :'( :-X

I needed some serious inputs in getting my Educational Credentials assessed. I haven't sent my documents for assessment because of the below issues. Kindly help


1. I am having a Post Graduate diploma in Business Management from a college called Wigan & Leigh College, Bangalore. This College is a branch of the Wigan and Leigh College, United Kingdom. My final PG certificate is issued by the UK College. But I cannot see the name of my college in the list of Autonomous universities/colleges. Should I tell the college to send the transcripts to WES? or can I just send the certificates directly to WES? Besides, I dont have mark sheets, instead they are all grade sheets (4 grade sheets, one for each semester+ 1 final Certificate issued by the UK college which I mentioned above). How to make sure that the documents submitted wont be in bounced back? should I get the copies attested or something?

3. Should I submit my PG, Graduation, Plus two and 10th standard? Or just the PG and Graduation will do?
4. My name is "Mohamed Ishak VP" in 10th, Plus two as well as graduation. But in PG, its Mohammed Ishak VP. one M is more.. :'(Is this gonna be a problem? How can it be addressed?

I hv applied thru a consultant, PCC not sent as consultant told pcc required after medical. But, after going thru this spreadsheet hv seen many already over with pcc. My Q is - should I wait as per the consultant or apply for pcc to avoid last minute rush and moreover if pcc valid for 1 yr then, my pcc will b valid. OR should I wait for PER no, then apply for pcc??

Also suggest or guide me as how to update my profile with all the details like all hv done. Not able to do . Pls help.

You are fine. The local VO will ask you for PCCs.

You need a PCC from anywhere you have lived for 6 months or more since you turned 18. So at a minimum you will need PCCs from Saudi Arabia and India.

But in this letter it is not mentioned that it was a full time job/ number of working hours. employer is not ready to mention working hours.

Though the job profile/designation is a managerial profile and is full time job.

is this letter sufficient ? as per document checklist reference letter must have number of hours worked.

Send the highest pg certificates and graduation certificates and should be directly from the university or college and once you have filled both your degrees online with Wes they are gonna wait for both to reach and let them decide they will consider it or not.

Name will not matter with CIC but can't say about wes

although, mentioned full time is enough but recently one of our forum member got rejected because the Reference letter didnt mention exact hours.
so my suggestion is pl try to get Reference letter with exact hours written on it
and if u cant manage the letter dont worry send ur Application with this letter and pray for the best ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for the info, but when will i have to submit the PCC, only after a authority letter from CIC or during filing application.
Moreover if My Indian Embassy providing my PCC will that be enough. For saudi local police authorities will do the job!
