Hi friends,

I made the DD on 19-7-2014, will it be OK, if I send the application on 04-08-2014. I stay at Bhubaneshwar, India. I called UPS they said if I send on 1st august it will reach on 7 august

Or will CIC will say that " it should have 5 months validity when they open the package and see the DD , like they did in IELTS case

or shall i make new DD. ( its not a big deal for me)

I have ICICI bank CC also

plz suggest

If you have an option to get a new DD , I would recommend to go for it. 10 to 15 days should not be a problem. Again y to take chances and worry about for next 5 months

Hi Guys ,

I want to ask for one more suggestion , our application reached on 14th may is it wise to go for FBI Background verification or i wait till i get the PER ??

How much time on an average FBI takes to complete those background checks .

[size=9pt] I don't know in Pune, but as my post suggests look in www.justdial.com and it will pop up like 10-15 at least. Call a few and bargain for around 3K. Fingerprinting is a fine art / science in itself and as we have seen even guys who got it done in USA got theirs rejected by FBI. I did in India and never had any issues in the multiple occasions that I got done. If you go to government agencies they charge even lesser, but hard to find good ones at a lower price. You need to call around brother!!

Am taking a bank statement certificate, is there a format I need to provide to the bank ?
Usually if it's a certificate it will be in INR, do I have to mention in the certificate how much CAD it is when converted ?
