By the grace of Almighty. I just received PER email. I am 7th May applicant and my CC charged on 12th June.

I want to share one thing, I was worried when I saw 7th May applicants who got charged on 16th June are receiving PER while there are many 12th and 13th June charged applicants are still waiting. Just today after getting PER I understood that CIC is not working exactly in the order of CC charging date. So applicants who got charged earlier, please don't worry. Hopefully you all will receive PER.

SS updated.

Don't make false assumption. I have never ever heard of E-Visa, and FYI to became a Permanent Resident you have to complete your landing process. Who said they don't ask for passport ?? To enter Canada you must have valid Visa & COPR(only while landing). There is no way COPR comes in email. Never ever even if you are Visa exempt country.
If your from a visa waiver country they just normally request a copy of the passport and if not from visa waiver country they ask for the original passport. COPR is always mailed out

Plz guys, give me some feedback on my previous post, thanks.

Dear all members,

First of all my heartily congratulations to all PER holders and very best wishes to all other members for their PER emails. I am seeking your advise again. As I explained in my earlier post that I already applied in incorrect 2171 NOC and my file reached there on 23rd June. Now, I want to resend new application with correct 2281 NOC. I am waiting for my spouse's additional IELTS TRF. It will take 10-12 days to get that. Without his IELTS I am not sure whether I am scoring 66 points or 68 points. I have calculated my points as follows:

Education: 23 (BSc (IT) and MBA)
Age : 12
IELTS : 22
Spouse IELTS: 5 ( confuse? Whether include it or not ?)
Work experience: 9 or 11 points (I have two work experiences : 1 year paid training and 9 months experience as system administrator matching with 2281 NOC + 1 year and 4 months current experience as system analyst job duties are matching with 2281 NOC) so total 25 months experience in 2281 NOC

My query is am I able to get 11 points on above description of two work experience. Both have long time gap. First one is in year 2006-2008 and second is from last march 2013...till date

Do I need to wait for my spouse IELTS or should I go ahead without that? Am I already too late to apply for 2281?

Another big concern, which making us worry every single minute.......... Are we doing right now to send another file without waiting for response of first file?

Or are we again doing big mistake by sending another file? Will CIC invalidate both files or accept new file? What will happen if they send PER of first file?

Should we wait for their positive/negative response of first file? Or is it too late to apply again by then in this year cap?

As per the Canada Gazette of 26th June , an applicant can apply multiple applications at a time but the experience should be vary according to different NOC out of 50 eligible occupations.
But my scenario is bit different, earlier I had applied under 2171 NOC and this time my NOC will change to 2281 code and job duties will remain same. So here the question is : is it legitimate to file my second application on same work experience and same Job duties in different NOC code? Is it sound lawful?

Plz guys, give me some input on this issue. Your valuable suggestion/opinion can save my family's life. Thanks in advance. Waiting for your reply.............

Client Application Status - Decision Made

Permanent Residence

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 2, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on June 23, 2014.

3. Medical results have been received.

4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

How would I know if the decision is in my favor or not ?

Dear not an false assumption

cpc ottawa dont ask for passport , They will issue u a letter indicatinh as COPR

Now at airport , You have to clear all landing formalities

The only difference is Visa is not stamped on passports but given as an letter.

Hope u understand.
You are mixing Travel document with COPR & PPR. Let me explain it to you in detail:

COPR: Confirmation of Permanent Resident. It comes in Mail (from visa-exempt country) or It comes along with PPR (visa stamped) & COPR. You have sign COPR in front of CBSA officer in Canada when doing landing process. It never comes in Email.

Travel document: It takes about 2-3 months(current processing time) to get PR card. But due to some reason you have to leave Canada then you can only enter Canada through land Border(Canada-USA Border) or at airport(only people from Visa exempt country). What about people from country which required visa to enter Canada ?? They can enter Canada through land border using COPR or they have to get Travel document to enter Canada again. Later at any stage if you went outside Canada and lost your PR card then you have to get travel document to enter Canada (only people from no-visa exempt countries).

To became a permanent resident you always always and always have to do landing process before expiry date of Visa which is exactly one year from your Medical being done.

Hope you understand what I mean. ;)

His concern was , That cpc ottawa did not asked for passport

And i said - they wont ask ur passport and instead send u COPR by post / Mail

Which you have to present during landing time to CBSA officer

And i know that PR card is a travel document that u ll get after 50-60 days o landng at tour given address during Landing time.

That's what I am trying to convey to you that his is Indian National (non-visa exempt country) so he will for sure receive PPR.
PR card is different from Travel document.

Sorry Rohan..but did u make a enquiry to CIC?
Yes. I sent a mail on 18th June and they cared to reply today.

I cant possibly think of any one particular reason. Possible reasons could be:

1. NOC mismatch according to CIC
2. IELTS expiry (25th May 2014) - Application receive date (9th May 2014)
3. Sheer bad luck

Don't know what to do now. The nearest IELTS date available is 6th September. Results would be declared by 20th September. Application would reach CIC by 25th/26th September. Wonder if 2171 would be open till then.

With Express Entry starting from 1st Jan 2015 and it's promise to give PR's within 6 months, wonder how advisable it would be to re-send application for FSWP 2014 program.

Also, my application was returned on 11th July as per CIC. It hasn't reached me yet. GOD knows where it is. Need to know the reason for rejection.

I took all pains I could for the Canadian dream. Slowly, it's fading away. As I said earlier, India is not that bad! :D
