I am referring the Instruction Guide...

Step 3: Pay the fees
Processing fees must be paid only for the principal applicant and any accompanying family members

Common Sense Part is Below:
And whether or not your family are accompanying you need to enter their details and you do not mention upfront at the time of sending the application that although you have included the dependent detail but they will come after 3-4 years when you will get settled..
So, CIC will look for the fee for all your dependents...

If you have already sent the application then no need to ask these questions now.. You will get tensed... You may get different answer and nothing will help.. If you have not sent it yet then I would suggest that include the fees for dependents.. Rest is upto your common sense..

Guys .. I got this info from consultancy when I was discussing to get my application filed by them .. However I did it on my own as they were charging more
They mentioned that primary applicant and any accompanying family members have to pay the fees .. thats the main difference for accompanying and non-accompanying family members
The other difference is in Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)
under Dependant's Personal Details
for Question 11 -
Check the box to indicate whether or not, your dependant will accompany you to Canada.
If you answered “No”, provide the reason why your dependant is non-accompanying.

But you hae to fill all the details for your accompanying / non-accompanying family members in all documents
Note - POF should be shown for all the family members whether accompnaying or not

Dear all, especially those who have their files transferred to a local VO,

After the PER email, does the CIO ALWAYS send another email to notify the applicant that his/her application has been transferred to a particular Visa Office for further processing? Or do I need to contact the CIO to inquire about where and when they have sent my application?

And, does that Visa office ALWAYS sends an AOR email (Acknowledgement Of Receipt) to the applicant?

Thanks for the help guys,

Ammani
@ Ammani
You have to email them to find out the status of your file. I emailed them on 16th June and I received their reply on 29th July that my file has been transferred to London Visa Office.

I got the same question and asked the representative in consultancy .. they responded that we have to pay the fees for the dependatns while applying for them .. Its sponsoring your dependents later time.. but you have to follow all the procedure again and fill all the documents and wait for their review. Good thing is that it doesnt come under CAP
But guys .. Please dont take me wrong .. you are seniors.. i am just giving info what I got from a representative in a consultancy

You mean to say that they wont inform by their own that file has been transferred to VO.. And if this is correct then I guess many applications would have reached to New Delhi VO too and applicants should wait for their AOR..

The bold is contradictory...Am I missing something?

You only pay the application fees for the principal applicant and accompanying dependent (not non-accompanying),that's what the guide mentioned...Which fee for all dependents are you referring to?

A lot of people are asking about minor issues and whether that will lead to rejection/returning of the application.
I am reposting this as this will give you a better picture of what you must do and what you mustn't for smooth processing of your file:

Following are some of the reasons why cases were rejected/returned for FSWP 2013 program: (almost all the cases were rejected/returned in the initial phase),

Please make sure you do not commit these mistakes while applying.

1- User spoke to cic office and got to know his file has been returned, don't know the reason yet

19- Used old Schedule 3 form, Reapplied on 9/6/2013
20- Incomplete reference letter and missing duties
21- User had a job offer letter but did not have HRSDC approval
22- Failed to prove 67 points, got 66 points instead, failed to claim work experience points by not attaching duties for 2 years

Hi Seniors.. I am in the same situation thinking whether I can send additional doc (my wife's IELTS score card) to CIC which can improve my application eligibility .. Can you please let me know the process .. By the way i dont have UCI number and my application reached CIC on 24-Jul

Hi Ananjay,
Can you please provide your comments for the above question. Your reply helps a lot for many in this forum

Thanks in advance !!!!
Brother do u make 67 points without your wifes ielts...
If it is so then there is is no need at all to send your wifes ielts score as it wont improve nything.
See chances of getting PR of a person with 67 points is equal to one who have 100 points. So just relax.

PS- I personally dont feel that they accept additional documents which are sent later, othrwse my file have been pushed to july 4th.
