Well I am still in preparation of my package and waiting for ECA from WES (So, fingers crossed and need your wises/prayers). I dont know if I would meet the CAP for 2171, because that the NOC I qualify and have been working as a Information Consultant for about 8 years.
My question or rather clarification is on POF (Proof of Funds)
I checked in the forum and for 3 Members its $18,097 CAD, which is around 10.5 lacs in Indian Rupees. I have asked my dad to transfer it to my account and some I had in Policies which I took on and will be moving to my Savings Account which is in SBH (State Bank of Hyderabad).
Do I need to hold this sum of 10.5 lacs in my account till I land in Canada or till I get PER for Visa interview .. till when ?
Should the POF letter show the amount equivalent in Canadian dollar as well..Any one has any format, that would be of a great help.

I'm not sure anyone can answer this question. However ultimately you are in the queue by your application received date. If your PER is delayed, that is annoying and I certainly understand that, but it doesn't affect the application.aha2174 said:

Without sounding full of myself (because I really am not, as I am constantly learning here as well) my tone and language is appreciated by a lot of people here in the forum. This is the crux of the concern that Rohit might have:
Some people want to share their views and express them as suggestions, not even remotely aware that they are incorrect. That doesn't help the person who has asked for the suggestion as he / she is misguided (or even $hit scared at times) because of an eager responder, who did not have knowledge of the subject in the first place. And erring is not a sin, but sticking on their point of view despite being incorrect is irritating and foolish to others who know that the information being relayed is wrong. That is what rohit was guilty of when it came to DDs (quoting RBI regulation as the reason of DD being limited to only for 3 months validity in India, when clearly 100s of folks in India have got DDs made for 6 months in FSW 2014 itself). He was then also guilty of challenging / accusing fsw_toronto on something he has little idea about. Only then I interfered to try and sort it out between them since I happen to know that DD validity is for 6 months by most banks like HDFC, ICICI, Axis etc. Similarly when I quoted that both PO Box address and Street address might be same he was eager to clarify that they are different knowing little about PO Box addresses, it seems. Later even neel15 came back saying to me that they are actually the same addresses. So what I am trying to point out is people with half baked knowledge should not pass half baked views as firm answers and at least be open to admitting their limitations rather than pushing incorrect information despite being corrected on it.

PS - At times when I do go overboard I try and make an amend. SMFAHAD was one guy who I was once critical of because of what happened in that situation between him and Shah2014. But I can tell you he and I have jelled a lot since then. Because I didn't attack him per se, and I like the guy, as simple as that.
