No, this is not to demoralise. I wrote in response to someone saying "people are tensed"...And I just said Canada fsw is not worth of getting tensed, just worth applying and waiting. I do not say people should not apply but there should be a reality check and people should set right expectations. I personally know several people who have come back while some who are there. And the ones who are there always think of immigrating to USA as they are underpaid. As far as I am concerned, I am applying to relocate purely for the purposes of quality of life of my children. I do not need a job as I am self employed entreprenuer.
Then you say that u r applying for better life of your children. dont say that people are returning. Everyone knows people are returning but all are knowing about people are staying there and living happily and peacefully. so my concern is spread positive vibe not the negative one.

with all due respect , if u r so indecisive about what u r doing in the first place then you might also end up returning soon ............please be sure of what u r about to do and analyze all pros and cons well in advance but please dont pass on your paranoia to others and confuse them now .
Please understand the context in which the comment was made. Someone wrote that people are very tensed. I responded by saying its not worth getting tensed as I read and here of several people who have returned due to lack of opportunities. And then someone responded how can I say there are no jobs there. That was the context. It has nothing to do with my personal decision nor should this impact anyone else's decision, just to show people other side of the story and set right expectations and know its not really worth getting tensed about unless they are totally unemployed in India or elsewhere.

For NOC 1112 if 124 completed applications reached CIC by 4th May then there seems to be little hope for those who applied for this NOC in June/July.

Also applications for 2174 and 1112 seem neck to neck but the spread sheet shows number of 2174 applications to be almost double that 1112.

Clearly this is not good news for 1112 applicants who applied after may end.

From last to this Cap update there is increase of only 1 for 8 NOCs and 4 for 1112. I guess this time they have mentioned that this 528 out of 25000 is till 4th May only as footnote.

NOCs Increased By
1111 Financial auditors and accountants 18 1
1112 Financial and investment analysts 124 4
1114 Other financial officers 4 1
2131 Civil engineers 21 1
2132 Mechanical engineers 35 1
2171 Information systems analysts and consultants 29 1
2173 Software engineers and designers 55 1
2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers 131 1
3142 Physiotherapists 12 1

Total = 12

Read the Guide to know the alternatives:
Hello Future_Canadian & Immigrationland,

From the CIC website, the alternatives are not pretty much clear for the birth certificate. Also, I understand from a friend that acquiring a berth certificate in India is a complicated job and can take from 3~5 weeks to get 1 certificate which is also not a sure shot in my case as it is even more complicated as i was born in a different state than my current location.

I also understand from some of you that SSC certificate mentioning my Father's name and my clear date of birth can solve the purpose. If so then any of you / your known have any experience for this?

I don't know, just keeping my fingers crossed and trying to find a way out, I dont want to be stuck or get delayed in finding an alternative for a birth certificate.

Best regards,
Ashesh

The VO will assess your duties (on the reference letter) with the duties listed under NOC 2132.

If they match and the amount of the corresponding experience that matches the NOC is more than 6 years - you get full points.

Good luck!

Truth be told - acquiring BC in India is not much of a hassle if you are willing to shell out the bucks in order to acquire it within a certain time frame. There are lot of agents who do this.

If you do choose to go with SSC Certificate - make absolutely sure you get a sworn affidavit along with it explaining the circumstance.

As for people who have made it through this way - i think you will get quiet a few cases if you are willing to search in the forums.

I applied for FSW on May 2nd 2014. My credit card has been charged on June 2nd 2014. However, I have not received my PER yet. I sent CIC an email enquiry to which they responded saying that the credit card has been charged successfully. No comments on the PER . They also included my UCI# and File # in the email response. I would like to know if there are many more people who have their UCI but do not have their PER. On logging into the status of my application on CIC website the status is showing as "In Process". However, I am surprised that there is no PER email yet.
First congratulations if you are able to login to ECAS.

Guys, please advise!! If I indicated my credit card account which support 3d secure option, can this feature interfere with withdraw processing fees by CIC? Does their site / system has this 3d secure feature? Many thanks in advance!!
