Dear Experts ,Please clear my confusion regarding the IELTs score. The CLB point calculator is not clear to me ,whether each module has individual CLB level or the whole IELTs result constitute the CLB level. I request if someone can calculate my points.

My result is
List 7.5
Read 7.5
Writing 7
Speaking 7

My understanding is the total score is 23 but some say its 20. Experts guidance and verdict is highly appreciated.

23 is correct


If u have
S L R W
6 6 6 6 --> then u get 4 points each...
6.5 7.5 6.5 6.5--> then u score 5 points each
7-9 8-9 7-9 7-9--. then u score 6 points each

For instance if ur score is 6, 6, 6.5, 6.5 then u score --> 4+4+5+5=18...

did u get this explanation?

thanks ,i got it . With 23 points my score is 67..actually i got confused from the other posts where some guys are saying my score is equivalent to CLB8 and total score is 20 points.

Dears,

I am May 15th 2014 application received candidate
and have elected to use credit card payment method.

I am thinking of sending two more payment form
using my 2 other credit cards, to ensure the fee charging goes thru.

Hence would be sending to CIC by courier 2 more payment form
with a letter indicating my personal details
and an explanation to CIC on the purpose of second parcel.

Perhaps I can also send a DD while I am at it but
not sure whether DD can be credited back to me in case
credit card gets charged.

Hopefully, CIC would be able to locate and attach additional payment
fee form to my application.

Thanks in advance for the feedbacks and may the odds be in favour of
everyone on this forum.

Why are you concerned that your payment will not go through????

However, my PCC for trip to US for 5 months and some 20+ days, you mentioned I wait for VO to guide me whether or not they need PCC from US. Isn't it a requirement to send this anyway for trips 6 months or more, or is it that it needs to be sent only if VO asks for it? Remember I said on my form the trip was for 6 months.

The requirement is that if you stay anywhere for 6 months or more you need a PCC. Since you wrote 6 months, the VO may require a PCC from the USA. You can go ahead and order one if you want so you can be prepared, or just wait to see if they ask for it. I don't know whether they will or not.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for not being able to respond to your queries. I was in office and trying to swim myself out of a deluge of issues.

I am in no ways saying that CIC reconciled my second set of documents to my app. Like many of you said CIC might have considered it immaterial. But when I first asked in this forum some seniors had opined that it could lead to rejection. Same is the case with using PF as POF. So I wanted to post these things for the benefit of everybody. No offence meant.

Coming to the most important part - my reference letter from my previous company. Like Oscar had mentioned, I get enough points even if my previous experience is not counted. My reference letter for my current company covers 4.5 years and if CIC considers that then I can sail through. My self evaluated points are 83. Waiting for PER with crossed fingers.

Please give me sometime to update the spreadsheet.

Not getting any idea how cic is picking up the files of a perticular date..a per ss i hv seen 96 applicants on 8 th may and out of tht 56 got charged in tht 53 was cc and three DD..and 40 applications pending in tht also 18 cc and 22 DD ..i hv noticed tht majority of files of 7 th also pending for DD paymant ppl.is tht coz the delay in information gettg to DD ppl from banks/cic/ecas..or do cic really ignore DD applications..i m confused..
Besides the time is also not a factor i thk the cc bring charged in a random basis for same day..
All assumptions...

Same question as above from me too ,i have an 8th May, DD, have chkd with bank today and still not charged ....Does anyone have any idea about it ?

hello there, I have couple of questions here and hope you guys can answer me. thank

1. I applied last 2011 but got rejected due to cap reach. Then my agency did not return my generic form so i haven't seen my UCI number before.reapplied this year under NOC 3012 and my application was received june 20, 2014. Is there any other way to know my UCI number at this time without necessarily waiting for me to receive my PER? One more thing, I renewed my passport this time so the details are not the same as that of my old application.

2. How long is the processing time of this entire FSW thing? I checked in the CIC website, it says there that 22 months under Philippine's VO but i am reading some post that says only 10 months or a year at most like that of the previous years.

Guys do CIC accept FRC (Family Registration Certificate) of Nadra instead of Birth Certificate. Secondly, do they accept Municipal corporation Birth certificate as i don't have Union Council one.

Hello Friends,

I need one help, i sent my FSW application, reached on 22nd May. Nothing I heard about any CC/DD charge.

After sending application, i realized that I had not written my name, family member names in native language (in family declaration forms for both me and spouse). However, I wrote down my name, spouse name in native language in "Background Declaration" form.

Is there any problem..? Will they reject my application..? :-(
