Sure.. And how will spouse enter Canada later on (considering PR takes long time)...Either on visitor or as a student. At that time spouse needs to prove he or she will return to home country after visiting or completion of course. Since partner is still in canada proving that is impossible. Just trying to make understand that one may apply for spousal PR now itself. later on its complicated.

Hello Seniors

I am new to this forum....I have some doubts regarding PCC. Please excuse for that :-[
I had gone through lot of posts in this forum, however not quite sure.....until now. :-\

Background:
My passport is from CITY1 (Permanent Residence-Parents Residing) and for that last 10 years.....I studied in CITY 2 for 4 years, worked in CITY 3 for 4 years and now in CITY 4 (Present Address -Me and Spouse Residing) for more than 3 years now.......

Query:
(1) I have already received PCC from Passport Office (CITY 1) Permanent Residence, since this address is in my Passport.
Do I still have to obtain PCC from CITY2, CITY3, CITY4 ??

(2) If YES, we need to obtain PCC from all cities CITY1,CITY2,CITY3,CITY4, then how ??
In the passportindia OnlineApp link, where PCC is initiated, if we mention CITY4 address as present address and place of issue of passport as CITY1 address, it does not accept and mentions, "Your present address is not under the jurisdiction of the passport office registered for your account".
How should I initiate such process ?

(3) In some posts, I read, PCC is country specific and not state or city specific.
Which means PCC from my permanent residence CITY1 stands valid. Require Confirmation.

(4) Form IMM 5669 - Background Declaration, Point No 12. Addresses, asks to list down all addresses that you have lived from the last 10 years. Are these addresses mentioned here would be used to match with the PCC documents I provide ?

I could be wrong. I read it as, she is no longer with that company, and never worked with that supervisor. But if I'm wrong, then I withdraw my comments about this situation.

No brother, probably you are right. By the sentence "If I have worked in company X" - she probably meant she is currently not working there. :-[ :-[ . The "new supervisor" confused me.

Prediction aah....little tricky. For 2173 i saw ~140 applications few days back. Now i see total 163..Thats ~20+ applications in last 2 days. This is just this group. Overall there may be many more apps. And many more pending with CIC. But lets keep up hope and send it across asap.

translated or i can send xerox of that....when i asked notary public to notarised the xerox copy then they told they cant notorised ...so i am in dilemma ..if i send original then i
should again make translation copy which seems

I received request to submit FBI report from VO recently. It appears that getting FBI report takes more time and I may not meet the deadline to submit. Can I request visa office to extend time to allow for submission of PCC??

I heard it take around 22 days to get PCC from FBI. If it is true, you should be fine. How many days VO has given to provide PCC?

Your quote is valid for selecting the Current Boss OUT OF 'Ex- Bosses'. Even in your case/eg. you mentioned picking 1 out of the 4 former bosses. However, there's no such concept of future_boss.. [future can be prefixed to canadian only ]

@saira's situation is different.. she's getting a Letter from someone who was never her boss during her stint with the co. This person joined at her Manager level Only after she left the co.

I personally don't think it makes sense to get a letter from somebody whom you have never worked with (in the past or present) .. with any Employer.

ALWAYS go with current boss even s/he is just for 1 days - it is worldwide accepted. It is always assumed your current boss knows your past and his certificate for past is never questioned. I got 10 yrs of work experiences and worker 4 supervisor; 3 of them left (one currently at UK). According to your philosophy, I need to search them all and have to even travel UK (not a bad idea) but all of them cannot sign on my company's letter head as they are not currently working there.

1.Translation copy is original and notarized and translated by certified translator.
2. Photocopy of the original BC notarized.
