Hi there ! Yes I am sure . I spoke with bank today & they said this guideline is only for d.d payable in INDIA. Since we are paying in canada through associated bank our local bank, there shouldn't be any issue . Don't worry.

Will I be asked for PIN at every POS terminals be it domestic or International?
If the POS terminal (domestic or International) is enabled for PIN authentication, you will be asked for PIN. You will need to enter your credit card ATM PIN and complete the transaction."

Need to know whether CIC POS is pin enabled or not.

Then why u need to worry?

Since ur certificate copy should be on ur hand and also WES has sent u two copy original report...


I think u should not think for second application if u have not found any major mistake already.....

If visa debit is not accepted , do you think is it possible for me to send certified cheque to them and ask them to put it into my application package ? Will they be willing to do this?

I agree, these system downtime things can happen. First of all, no need to wake up everyday and check ECAS status daily. If one has received PER mail the way to look should be forward, not backward.

And if such an error happens please control one's anxiety, try and wait for 3-5 days at a minimum for it to get corrected (one can even PM senior guys like Ashif, kollins, Century, Future etc.), rather than come running in the forum "mommy-daddy this isn't working, or that is not showing what it should." One should not spread panic, but try to reduce other's panic. This is especially expected from those who are way ahead of others in the process. High time to grow up!!! :

If I miss to keep a copy of the university certificate and I just keep the original WES report, is it any chance the application will be rejected?

And is it wise to resubmit another application now before getting any feedback regarding the first application?

WES REJECTED MARKSHEETS ONLY ACCEPTED DEGREE CERTIFICATE - PLEASE HELP

my friend is from Dhirubhai Ambani institute a reputed deemed university.

They do not provide proper marksheet to students, as they have just printed grade card report kinda things.
On the request of marksheet they just printed out that report and provided stamp on it.

With that marksheet, transcript & degree certificate he sent the documents to WES where only degree certificate was accepted not the marsheet.

Now how to convince WES that as a part of marksheet college only provides this to all the students.

Your friend shouldn't have sent the mark-sheets to WES. His school is to send the mark-sheets/transcripts to WES. What your friend should do is to send a request to his school for them to courier his mark-sheets to WES. If not, WES will not complete his evaluation.

Yes, you are right. PIN is not required for POS machine; CIO don't use online but use POS machine. +1

Bro I guess it is not about POS machine (I had to enter PIN even in many POS in different countries across Europe), I guess it is more related to the authenticity of the merchant authorizing the transaction. For example, Amazon.com doesn't even require the 3-digit CVV, forget about the OTP or PIN.. Although it is an online store.

CIC is an authentic merchant, it will definitely not require any OTP or PIN.

My suggestion, you wait. There could be other errors made that you don't know. Your NOC is too cold to be filled up.

Hi , it does not matter what you retain for your own record.

If you have sent a copy of your education document( Degree/Diploma/certificate) and original ECA report you are fine.

Any deviation from the above is subject to refusal of your file.

U just hit on the nail. Don't worry. After 10 page, you may find this issue again.

Two issue seems never will be over:
1. CC: PIN issue
2. DD: 3-month validity issue.
