There would be so many NOC's for which CAP will not start even or may limit to 5 or 10 by end of April 2014.. So, if you know anybody with very very cold NOC such as Nurse or Psychologists then ask them to apply... Offcourse CIC wants these Nurses (COLD) for us (HOT) only...
I am talking about HOT and COLD NOC...
Nothing to worry about. I also have HDFC bank Credit card and had paid my fee for WES for $204 through that card. It doesnot require any PIN for the same. So Don't worry and relaxdsharma9 said:I sent the application yesterday along with credit card details. Mine is an international credit card with HDFC bank with full limit of 3 lakhs on international as well as domestic transactions. I am now hearing some bull*censored word* from customer care that OTP or secure pin would need to be entered while making transactions internationally too. Previously before sending the form I called the bank manager as well as customer care and they told me there would not any be one time password or pin verification kind of bull*censored word* for online transactions abroad, but now I am hearing things differently from them.
I know incompetence is rampant in this country, be it customer care or anywhere so I can not trust any one of them. Has anyone faced this issue ? As far as I know any merchant can theoretically charge the card using card number/cvv.
PIN is not required, customer service people do not know how transactions workdsharma9 said:I sent the application yesterday along with credit card details. About which report and cert u are talking abt??
Yes, you are right. PIN is not required for POS machine; CIO don't use online but use POS machine. +1lut4rahman said:PIN is not required, customer service people do not know how transactions work
Yes but this is India so you will remain clueless till things happen. These days all bull*shit like pin verification, One time password, etc are required for making transactions. However the puzzle is some merchants are authentic enough to not require any verification. Anyone experienced anything with Indian credit cards ?lut4rahman said:PIN is not required, customer service people do not know how transactions work
Hi, just to clarify... it says "Applications will be received from individuals with skills and experience in one of 50 eligible occupations. For each occupation, a maximum number of 1,000 applications will be accepted." -- does that mean, they will only accept 1000 applications per NOC, even if not all 1000 applications were to be given visa (like if some of the 1000 will be rejected or something)?Pipis Husband said:See the cap received update as compiled by the owner of this blog, http://www.canadavisa.com/total-number-of-federal-skilled-worker-applications-received-by-cic.html
See the total applications as published by CIC (not reliable since it is at least 4 weeks old when published) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp
See the figures on the spreadsheet being maintained for members of this forum, FSWP 2014 Spreadsheet: http://tinyurl.com/FSW14-Spreadsheet
You can draw you own inferences from these resources. Cheers
