Hey My file was returned back yesterday due to invalid credit card number( Nitro PDF software : changed the numbers on security code and I did not check after printing the form).
Guys be extra care full for entering your numbers on payment info (specially the 0 are removed and thus the number are changed when you save it).
I was a May 7 applicant /NOC 3142/File reached at 9:47 am.
They tried the credit card three times on June 13th, June 20th and June 24th and the declined card report was sent to me with the package.
They have also asked to submit a Copy of letter of refusal letter if I am re-applying.
I sent my package again today .Keeping my fingers crossed .Good luck to everyone

Dear All,
I have this slight confusion, my application was delivered on 19 June to CIO. How do they inform us about our DD being charged or on PER? Postal Mail or Email or by any other means???

DD charge: Only your bank can inform you. CIO don't inform it.

PER: If you have given your e-mail in the generic form, CIO inform you through that e-mail; if not given, then CIO will inform through letters at your postal address using snail mail.

Which address CIC will use for sending out documents, medical for example? I assume it's the one in IMM 0008.

Do they send through international couriers?

Do you know, why CIO asked you the letter? To me:
1. They know, you will reapply
2. They know, you will be within cap
3. They won't check your file again. Your PER is confirmed. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Best of luck to you this time. Just cutious if your CC last attempt wss 24/6 and you received it back yesterday, did they use normal post or courier or your present address is in North America?

I used the credit card . thoroughly checked ! Kept the credit card in a safe place !
It is a credit card issued in Canada so I dont thint the international transaction would be a problem.
I am back by two months as I guess now i would be July 7th applicant) I hope i Make it into the cap. Last year my file was returned due to cap reached

Can I use my company's bank account certificate (I'm 51% partner) as part of my family's PoF?

pls m putting my documents together under NOC 2171 and everythin should be ready by this month ending, which means will be getting to CIC first week in august, should i go on with my preparation or would d cap be filled by then.

This is for those who are still working on their applications and have not sent it yet. Those who have sent, do NOT worry!!!!! Refer page 2170 to understand what happened with a member 'sarkca' while using a CC. Point is DDs are 100% safe when made for 6 months validity.

I will use his as well as the below example to caution others from using CC as a mode of payment (since DD is risk free when made for 6 months validity). I am in NO way saying CCs are always unsafe, but credit card users from India and some other developing countries have a higher risk of RBI / Bank regulation issues coming in their way, at times. Best wishes!!!

Re: Last Moment Check

Dear Future Applicants:

Before submitting your application, do the following last moment check: Most Frequent Errors​

• Ensure counting all the pages of form.
• Ensure writing your full name at the last page of generic form.
• Ensure selecting correct visa office
• Ensure writing names in native languages
• Ensure writing name, DoB, photo taken date at the back of photos
• Ensure including self-addressed labels
• Ensure while filling form IMM5406 by your spouse, s/he is applicant
• Ensure Assets = Your property + settlement fund
• Ensure Settlement fund is owned 100% by you or your spouse or jointly by both
• Ensure providing original ECA, IELTS, and PCC
• Ensure providing photocopy of degree/master certificate
• Ensure birth certificate contains applicant's name, parent's name, and DoB
• Ensure using DD;
• If using CC, ensure diligently fill all the field of Section B of payment form: amount, card holders name, signatures, card numbers, CVV, expiry date, and type of card.
• If using CC, keep it inside a vault.

Please elaborate me on self-addressed labels plz??? Where it has to be placed??

Hi all
I've already posted abt my dd encashment. Today I confirmed with my bank that it was encashed on 20th June.admin plz update this info too.
When can I expect PER? And what happens between DD encashment and PER ?

Personally i feel that you just need to wait for few days for your PER, may be a week or two. There won't be anything except your wait for the PER after the encashment.
