Folks - not sure if this has been brought up before or if majority of the applicants are aware of an operational manual for Federal Skilled Worker Program. Well here it is http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06c-eng.pdf
It is a detailed document about the Federal Skilled Worker Program, has all the information on processing a FSW application, reasons for rejection, what is checked at CIO and by a local CIC VO and much more.
Please do take the time to read it and understand it. It will answer most of the doubts/concerns that you might have.
I suggest you first read through the information available on the CIC's website (link available on my signature below) and then read through the operational manual.

Admins - If you have not done so already, can you please add the link to the operational manual to your spreadsheet? Thanks!

Can i make use of this provision for IELTS in document check list and on the site

Note: You are permitted to submit a copy of your language test results with a new application only if your original test results were submitted with a previous Federal Skilled Worker Program application that we did not return to you. If you provide a copy of your language test results, you must include a photocopy of the refusal letter you received from us and an explanation that CIC currently has your original language test results.

You can make use it of it ONLY if you have verifiable evidence that your IELTS was not returned along with your application package.
The evidence may be inform of the explanation letter that came along with the returned package which shows without any doubt that your IRLTS TRF is still with CIC.
Are you just quoting for understanding or you are sure that this happened to you?

Could you tell me how many points I will get for my education ?

I'm a Dentist graduated from Egypt- Cairo university ... my WES ECA report say the following :

Canadian Equivalency : Five Years of Professional Study in dentistry

Remarks : The Bachelor of Dental Medicine and surgery is the first professional degree in dentistry in Egypt

some told me that I will get 23 points because my degree is a Professional one , and on the CIC website it clearly states :
" University degree at the Master’s level or equalNote de bas de page 1 OR University level entry-to-practice professional degree (or equalNote de bas de page 1). Occupation related to the degree must be:

NOC 2011 Skill Level A, and
licensed by a provincial regulatory body. "

While other tells me that I will get 21 points only ... which is right ?? and what can I do to claim 23 points other than sending my ECA report with a copy of my certificate ?

I will only complete the 67 points if I got 23 on the education section .. so its very important to me ..

If his spouse appears for IELTS and scores Band-5, does he eligible to get 5 adaptability points?

yes if your friends wife gives an IELTS and get a score above 5 in all three sections then he can get 5 points for the adaptability.

I am 5 th may applicant. Fee cashed 6 th june. From 8 th june ecas status is IN PROCESS. I have last year uci. PER not received yet. In this i think only 5 members whose application received on or before 5 may not recived PER even after encashment of fee

Hello Seniors,

I am new to the forum and I need some advise on my case :
My wife file (NOC 3142 / Physiotherapist) was returned in FSWP 2013 due to cap reached./
We sent her file again this year on May first and the file was received on May 7th, 9:47 am.
I was reading a couple of posts earlier the that at saw the post regarding :technical glitch on Fee payment form ie.e it changes the number as different set of number. I just realized that my the credit card digit were wrong! I am waiting for my filed to be returned again.

Now I have a client id number as I am on work permit in Canada. Can I send the fee payment form again with a cover letter and other details. Or should I wait for my file to be returned before I can send it again.

In our case me and my wife both are eligible for principal applicant but she has more points that me so we decided that my wife will be the principal . I received a positive LMO for my work permit extension after I sent my wife file and now I have a valid LMO which is expiring on September 28,2014.

So now I want to make sure I am not missing on FSWP 2014 and need some advice
Should I apply as principal Applicant or should I send back my wife's File ( chances are Cap could be reached ).
I am adding a brief summary of our Profile for reference:

ME
NOC : 3142
Highest Level of education : Bachelors
IELTS :7.5
1.5 year of experience.
Currently working in Ontario as a registered Physiotherapist since June 15, 2014 (was on a study permit before)
Have a job offer with postive LMO expiring in September 28,2014.

My wife :
NOC : 3142
Highest Level of education : Master's
IELTS :8.0
3.5 year of experience.
Currently on a dependent work permit

Please advice
