I have considerable ammount of fund in my children savings account which is more than enough for a POF.

The only deposit into these accounts is either through my account or my spouse's account and this is evident in the statement.

Can I use this as POF?

Hi, in addition to the statement for your child's savings account, include a letter from your bank that you/your spouse are the account signatory(ies) and you are good to go. Best of luck with your application.

Hi

Send application for 2132 category and it was received at nova scotia on 16/5/2014 . Can anyone guide me what are my chance of coming in the cap of 2132 .
As last year when i applied for same category on CIC website it showed 85 applicants when it was received but later it came back stating cap got filled with a wait of 5 months to get that communication from CIC with my application kit send back .

Thus want to know what is realistic chance for this year cap as on CIC website till today 15th June 2014 it is just showing 8 applicants for 2132 .

Await guidance on it if anyone has a better infomation about actual cap figures for 2132.

Last year, when you applied, Dont forgrt this time 1000 CAP, which is more than sufficient. for 16 May applicant to get selected,
Check your CC charged or any other payment method you opted,
M also for 2132, but still form didnt send,

It sounds like legally encumbered.

The accounts have to be in the name of principal applicant or spouse of the principal applicant or jointly of them. Any deviation will not be accepted.

In as much as I used my son's statement of account as a proof of fund together with my spouse,I ensured that my statement of account evidence was enough for my family size.
CIC specifically mentioned principal applicant and spouse but were silent on the children usage as an evidence of POF.
I will suggest you transfer the cash back in to your account...(it will look as a bulk transaction)...print your statement of account,your spouse and your children.
Reason that if they have doubt from the one off transaction(your children) into your account,your children's statement of account will give evidence that you have been making a monthly deposit to their account....their history will show it.
I'm not just comfortable for you to use your children's account as POF.
At the end....write a cover letter to explain every of your actions.

If the funds are truly encumbered, that will be a problem. I am assuming the funds are unencumbered. You may have to transfer the funds to your own account for simplicity sake. Better to be safe than sorry.

I'm sure it will be Encumbered....hence the precaution.
Even if its not,I wont still go for the option....I'll prefer to send to my account and give a cover letter to explain the reason.
