The quotas for both NOCs are filling up at similar speeds. As long as you can apply by August,you should be relatively safe to get in.

You should choose your NOC based on your work experience and how your duties match with the ones listed for both NOCs.

The decision to apply under which NOC category should be based on how well your job duties match the job descriptions published by HRSDC. You can Google NOC and the respective job code and it will pop up. With respect to whether you will be in the quota or not, no one can really say. I suggest you not waste time and start collecting all the documents, because the documents take a a lot of time to gather all of them.

Can I have one reference letter for both the NOCs or I need separate one for each...

for the applicants who got their DD encashed, how did you track it? my bank is saying that they cant track a DD, the only way is the receipt i receive from CIC
any thoughts about this?

Some banks offer to track international DDs for a fee, others do it free and yet some others don't bother to track DDs once they issue them. Don't give your self high blood pressure, just relax and wait for your PER. Afterall, you did submit a complete application, didn't you? Best of luck.

Hi, you can choose to apply in both NOCs which is allowed provided you can produce the required documents for each of them or you can pick one yourself and apply. No one can really tell you what to do. The choice to apply for FSW is yours, the choice to choose one NOC over another is also yours. Just pick the closest one that matches your work experience and best of luck.

Whether a consultancy or not is entirely your decision. Anyway, where do you live, I mean city, country (so people might be able to suggest options)? Have you taken a date for IELTS test/ or what date is available to you/ or is your IELTS done? Do you have your transcripts from educational institutions? If yes, have you applied for/ received your ECA evaluation?

Not to scare you at all, but it is June 11th today, where do you stand in terms of the application readiness (may be from previous year, who knows)? Document checklist is on CIC website under Immigration > Immigrate > Apply to Immigrate> and under FSW program if you select Apply - FSW and within that click on 1. Get the application package and then select the hyperlink "application package" where the first document is the document checklist.

In forms like IMM5562 (Supplementary Information: Your Travels), shall i leave sections for partner and children blank or it is necessary to fill 'Not Applicable'?

No worries . just mention in the cover letter that both these names refers to the same company.which was changed from aricent to aricent group .one of my friend did the same . he moved from one country to another for same company ..but it was having different names.

If you want to be more sure ..have that typed on notarized paper and attach with your file

..............REGARDING WORK EXPERIENCE LETTER.........

1. This is bit awkard. I am having reference letter on which it is mentioned that i am working in this company for this much period. Name of the company on this letter head is Aricent. I am getting this from our online web portal. On the second letter head, i am having my job responsiblities signed by my manager. Name of the company on this letter head is Aricent Group. Reason behind that is name of my company earlier was Aricent Group but it changed to Aricent recently. Will that be a problem or do i have to write an explanation. If yes, then will it be an affidavit or a simple note.

2. Difference between an affidavit and a simple note. Does affidavit implies some text written on a plain paper or any government stamp paper signed by us? Moreover, do we need to get it attested or put some sort of stamps on it ?.

If you are away or not confident , can go for any consultancy .. should check their background before you go ... should have valid reg. no/ can be a lawyer too

I did not realize that along with my DD I have to provide a "copy of the receipt from the mission as proof of payment" (please refer to the check list the last two lines of item 20 fee payment".

i beleive what is ment by "the mission" is the bank who issued me the DD? is this correct understanding? :

Will this be a problem in encashing the DD?
