Yes, I have submitted my old passports as well

I too got the passport request on 27-Feb and submitted the passports personally on 2-Mar at VFS, Delhi. I am also waiting for my passports back. Did you submit it in person? Also, did you opted for courier service? Last question, did you submit your old passports, if any.

Thanks CanOl. Just a couple of minutes ago I received another email and text message confirming that my passport is ready for collection. Collection timing is between 4 & 5 PM. I'll go there and grab it! Fingers crossed. Hopefully Visa Officer didn't change his/her mind at the last step and returned my passport by stamping REFUSED on my passport

I had an untimely and unfortunate death of my Father this week. I am still waiting for my MR. My timelines are noted on the left. Should I raise a CSE to NDVO about my Father's demise?

Thanks FuturCanadian! Here's your +1 back. So far yes, I've been lucky. I wanted MR to be delayed. That worked out well. After MR I wanted quick visa, that worked out well too! MR was submitted on 25 Feb, 2015. 3rd Line update came on 1st Mar, PPR on 10th Mar and DM on 13th. Passport Submitted on Friday 13th, returned on Tuesday, 17th!

Hopefully you're right that they actually have stamped a visa before returning my passport!
