    A minimum validity of 6 months is needed. There is a high possibility airlines will not accept the same. Staying for a short duration is not a problem.

    You need to obtain a new FBI PCC. So you need to order the same right away. This will help you save time when they ask you, typically they ask it along with MR.

    It does not matter if you are landing alone or with family. Also it does not matter how long you are staying. You need to show the entire PoF when you do your landing.

    I don't have experience with this scenario but in general when you submit a document and it is accepted then you are fine even if it expires. In this case they have examined your documents and returned the DD. Meaning they have accepted the PCC and the same would have been updated in your file...

    Subash, if the DD says - "Payable at Par" and is from a nationalized bank then you should not have a problem

    It does not matter, how long you are staying. So you can carry in any format you want - Cash, TC or open a canadian bank account and take the proof of the same.
