how much time does it take for passports to be returned with visa?? (VFS submission to back in hand) and once DM, does that mean i can go ahead and resign as there's a notice period of 90 days involved !!

Thanks Buddy.. but i am asking for myself as i am planning to resign from my current job which carries a notice period of 90 days, but my consultant is not allowing me to do so.. and saying that anything is possible before VISA is stamped.. So a bit confused and wanted to take a feedback from...
