From this it can be concluded that as soon as they receive the medicals and if decision is made its a positive sign and they just need the passport to stamp the visa.

The visa issue date is actually the day when they conclude the decision based on the medicals.

Any comments on the same.??

Good point but funny is that my Decision Made done two days after Visa Issued date (visa issued on 22nd and Decision Made on 24th.)

DD charged on 9th October 2014
PER received on 20th October 2014
Processing started on 2nd dec 2014
MR received on 7th jan 2015.....

My second line update says "We started processing your application on December 16, 2014". But havent received my MR still.

I am a 14th July applicant.

Can anyone highlight what exactly happens between Second Line Update and the MR?

Need some advise. I am done with medicals and waiting for PPR. I have to travel to UK for two weeks on a business trip. Do i need to inform NDVO about this visit. If i do not inform the VO and as an when I get passport request , hope this does not seem like a misrepresentation.

Appreciate your assistance in this regard.

Checked status online. It shows in process

I clicked on " in process ", it shows we have received your application on 3 Oct 2014.

No PER yet.

Is it a good sign ?

Hey but double secure is a service like.. I have my own password.. meaning if CIC do transaction like shopping for it. they will be redirected to another page asking for double secure password.. which CIC don't have ... Are you sure they will charge it as a merchant.. and not as some user doing online shopping..

only online txns require double authentication. CIC do not charge online. yes your card should be fine.
However for precaution, inform your card issuer that you are expecting a charge from CIC Canada in the coming months upto xxx which should be approved by them.

u r ok to go - if u do get psprt rqst - that will have timeline to submit - simply adhre to timeline and submit psprt or seek extension

there is no need to inform vo on short terms travels

I got PER on the 28th of October. Sent a CSE today. I have come to hear of some instances where the VO has sent MR but it hasn't been received.

My Visa office is Pretoria and i received the PER on 8th October and no MR till now. My application was received on 12 june 2014. Any idea regarding the average processing time from PER to MR for Pretoria visa office?

it means that the Visa officer has opened your file for processing and have initiated background and security checks through third party. Once the checks are successful, you will receive MR request

Well if you say so... I will inform the bank about it.. I hope they don't face any issues because as mechants if you charge it.. it gets charged directly.
