My sister who applied for FSW 2014 had a trauma around 5 years back and had a minor surgery to her elbow and fixed screws. One year later screws were removed.

Now her elbow is slightly bent. (very small difference may be 5 degree) and a scar
She had not submitted any reports about this to CIC at the time of application.

1. Does she needs to inform about this at the time of medicals
2. if yes, any old reports need to be shown at the time of medicals or not.
or is it OK if she dont tell this to medical officer, as it was long back.
only photocopy of the reports may be available, as this was long back.

my suggestion is ,
you would have to tell the doctor everything as this is not a serious issue which can stop going to Canada .. so there is nothing to worry by telling the doctor . they will just inform that in the history . and if your sister will not inform problem is when she will reach Canada and if she will go to consult any doctor they wont be having this details in the medical records which they received from India. The medical results will be sending to Canada and it will be saved in their database.

My suggestion, inform the doctor. Also if possible, get all the reports.

For my case, I had an accident when I was child and had to go through surgery. Screw was also set at that time and removed later on. I told them all.

You called the Sydney Visa office ? Can you please tell me the number you called.

Passport expires in 9 months. Will be going tomorrow for renewing my spouse passport after marriage / name change.....should I also get my passport renewed now ??? or should I do it later on during the process. :-\ :-X :-\

I'd rather renew it. Even if your process is swift as a ray of light, you still will have to renew your passport in Canada, I think it's easier to do in your country than in Canada.
Usually passport renewal takes weeks, if not months... Why delay your process? I'd do it now, if I were you.

I received MR and additional documents request from London Office. They ask me to submit POF, Recently my mother has gifted me her one of her house in Pakistan. I have legal affidavit stating about the gift.

My First Question is " Do I need to submit London office original affidavit? or Attested photocopy is enough? ".

My second Question is "Can I include my end service benefits (which is CAD 7,200 cash) in Settlement funds? " I have original letter from my current employer stating about my total end service benefit up to March 2015.

1. Send the attested one. But note that house property is not counted as settlement fund or POF.
2. Yes, pension fund or similar like this is counted as settlement fund.

Hi Everyone,

I have sent my application on December 26th via UPS and they promised delivery in 3 days and now it's showing delivery by January 2nd. I got delayed due my ECA. Do you think cic will accept applications that got delayed in the mai and reach in the first week of January 2015?

You have to pray that somehow your application gets delivered on or before December 31, 2014, or IMHO, CIC will return your application probably without even opening it. Because Express Entry is an electronic application, so they won't even assess your application based on the new requirements as they normally do.

I see what you mean. But, there is somebody with Oct. 30 application got his UCI number and still not charged. Does this mean his file was returned !!
