Dear Diplomatru,

Could you please provide some reference about the policy or can you please elaborate little bit more. I sent my app under NOC 2131, it was received at CIO on September 30, 2014 and my DC got charged on December 14, 2014 and still no PER. So I was thinking if I send another application under same NOC 2131 by incorporating some missing things then it would be bit safer because (God Forbid) if I receive NER for first app then I will not have any time to apply under current FSW Program. You expert opinion will be highly appreciated. Thanks in Advance

I think it is safe to submit multiple applications under the same NOC. I had this same doubt and did some research till I found an answer in the operation manual :

"because the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) does not prohibit multiple applications. Prior to finalizing either application, the visa office will advise the applicant that the second application has to be withdrawn for the visa to be issued; visas must not be issued for one file while the second remains open and in process"

A letter from a brother? Ok, I am don't know what a person must show for getting points for relative in Canada but I am not sure just a letter will be enough...
I think the best way of getting points for this is to show proof of Residence in Canada from that person and Proof of Relation with your wife. But wait for other member to shed some light on this.
Anyway, forget what people that have no idea about this process says, most of them are trying to help but they can lead you to make mistakes.

Ohh... sorry.... Krasburn... it was a complete letter which included his ids, bills as the prove of residency and both bro in law and my wife's birth certificates to establish their relation, it was a complete letter which was also attested by a designated person in canada...

Done some analysis after NDVOs exhaustive work today

If we see the trend here .. CPC Ottawa and Manila VOs are doing great .. they are progressing very fast.. may be due to less number of applications

this means the sum of the two tabs is counted towards the total cap of the NOC

The current 207 file pending are for October 1st – 3rd week applicants only
As most of the last week September applicants already received PER they may be included in 700 caps
& reaming 300 can easily take October – November month's files 8)
