Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one.JAMAL007 said:Dear All

I don't see anything wrong with that. Make sure all dates match in Background Declaration and there are no gaps in timekissmyass said:The letter I've got from my university in Canada mentioning that I am a graduate student, is dated November 2013. Would it be Ok if I send it? Just asking about the date.

You can but you will have to get a new one later. It's not difficult to get a PCC from the USA.JAMAL007 said:Dear All

Then in "Status in Country" it will be "Citizen".Punjab2Canada said:For personal history in background/declaration form, are we supposed to leave "Status in country" blank if we have been residing/working in our own country?
I'm curious to know, did you get a job reference letter that states "some" of your job duties? How did CIC determine that not all your job duties were listed? Or is a case where your listed duties did not match intended NOC in their estimation?ravi12 said:Hello Guys,
I have one important news yesterday CIC returned my file because i had not listed all the duties and responsibilities.
Can i apply again?
My employer gave a new letter with all the responsibilities.
What is the process to apply again because they have already removed the transcripts.
You can easily land yourself into trap by Mentioning General duties. By General duties I mean: No mentioning duties in descriptive way or proper way. They don't know whether you listed all duties or not. They just blindly believe (80% cases) that what you mentioned in your reference letter is what you are doing on your work place. That's why Reference letter is one of the most important document of your application.whips said:I'm curious to know, did you get a job reference letter that states "some" of your job duties?
