The letter I've got from my university in Canada mentioning that I am a graduate student, is dated November 2013. Would it be Ok if I send it? Just asking about the date.

Dear All

I have Police Clearance from FBI - USA issued last year in October 2013. Can I use it? Getting a new one is very difficult. Please advise

Jamal
Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one.

I don't see anything wrong with that. Make sure all dates match in Background Declaration and there are no gaps in time

Thanks brother, but do you know how to get an affidavit from translator? how is it done in your home country?

as per the guide notarized translation is not enough, need to get affidavit from translator also . This is tough

That I can't help you with, sorry. All my documents are in English.

Normally, anyone can fill out an affidavit. One just has to prepare it and have the translator sign it.

You can but you will have to get a new one later. It's not difficult to get a PCC from the USA.

For personal history in background/declaration form, are we supposed to leave "Status in country" blank if we have been residing/working in our own country?

Then in "Status in Country" it will be "Citizen".

Hello Guys,

I have one important news yesterday CIC returned my file because i had not listed all the duties and responsibilities.
Can i apply again?
My employer gave a new letter with all the responsibilities.

What is the process to apply again because they have already removed the transcripts.
I'm curious to know, did you get a job reference letter that states "some" of your job duties? How did CIC determine that not all your job duties were listed? Or is a case where your listed duties did not match intended NOC in their estimation?

You can easily land yourself into trap by Mentioning General duties. By General duties I mean: No mentioning duties in descriptive way or proper way. They don't know whether you listed all duties or not. They just blindly believe (80% cases) that what you mentioned in your reference letter is what you are doing on your work place. That's why Reference letter is one of the most important document of your application.

NOC not matching duties mentioned is different thing. Mentioning all thing you do on work place and that too in descriptive way will be wisest thing to do. But one more to remember as well do over write you duties and compare it with duties mentioned on HRSDC website under your appropriate NOC. Comparing might help you in some way. Copy pasting duties from HRSDC website can be very risky. Do not take such chances. Good luck.
