Hello experts!!

Got confused by reading some of the old posts relating to RPRF fee to NDVO. I have to pay RPRF fee ASAP. Please help on my queries:

> Is it perfectly fine and acceptable to pay RPRF fee to NDVO by online method and send receipt to NDVO?
> If only payment has to be made by DD only- it should be in CAD (490) or INR (26700). I believe INR would be good.
> I have 2 weeks to pay RPRF fee. Does that mean that not only DD should reach NDVO but also be charged by them before deadline.
> DD and documents have to be sent to NDVO's below PO box address. Sending courier to a PO Box is ok ? or what is the other acceptable mode - Registered mail ?

I have completed my medical examination and I have plan to travel out of country for two months. During my travel what if I receive passport request (PPR), what will happen?
Is it possible to request consulate (CPC-Ottawa) that I can send passport after returning back (two months later).

Dear seniors,
I have following queries on the next steps of processing, i received PER on 04th december2014.
1. The LVO compulsory verify with the employers for the experience letters we have submitted. If so the level of depth of verification will be to an extent of duties as well or just employment details confirmation only.
2. If the medical reports shows any minor infections in blood samples or urine samples will that be an issue.
3. Usually once the VISA is issued, what is the validity of this to land into canda. As i have some personal activities to be finished before i can think about flying, Even if i get visa may be in another 6 months say by June, i will not be able to travel until next December.
4. what is the good time to land into canada for a family with children and their education point of view.
5. About the opportunities in canada where can i look for. I am looking for opportunities in "embedded software development for telecom and networking companies".
Experts pls advise on all these points as your views are very important here.

regarding question 9 of the Background form(Imm5669) which asks about any membership and associations with organizations, if we are a member of a company, do we need to fill it into this section? lets say the owner/manager or a founder or shareholder.

My wife is principal applicant and i am on her spouse .. My question is that do we have to give travel history of spouse as well or its just the main applicant .? I was being advised by my agent that just the Main applicant's travel history is required .. I hope its true .. Please help..

I am currently working in Canada, and hence have a UCI.
Up until Dec 2nd, ecas was unable to find me. On Dec 3rd, I saw my first ecas line "Your application for PR has been received on 18th August".
ECAS Status is "IN PROCESS"

I have 1 week for my current WP to expire and have been looking forward to my PER, so I could apply for a Bridge Open WP.


Qn1: Have any 18th Aug applicants reported having received PER?
Qn2: Can an IN PROCESS status imply that a PER is on the way?
Qn3: Has anyone here applied for a BOWP? If yes, how many days did it take for the application to be approved?

I am hoping that I get the BOWP before the holidays, so I can leave Canada in time to spend Christmas with my wife and kid.

No frn! Write down if u r a member of professional organization volunteer or paid, like teachers association, that does not work fr political achievement, but on enhencing professionalism.

I'm 26th June applicant and awaiting my MR/RPRF. I dont really have much knowledge about new Express Entry system. I think NDVO has been very slow since past couple of weeks in processing FSWP applications, may be they are getting ready for EE and giving more priority to it!

Two questions:

1. Would it be advisable to apply for EE in Jan'15?
2. If I don't apply for EE then another question arise is, Will I be able to access the job search pool which CIC has created for EE applicants?

My agent advised us that only main applcant should submit ..??? So does this mean that file wont go through completeness check .? Feeling tensed now . I am october applicant and our completeness check would be finished already.

Hey ratingcrady,

Let me disagree with you on a couple of points:

1. I always ask members to update the SS, and I'll keep doing it. There are a lot of old entries on the SS, and a lot of members don't update their info. Others just mention "admin, please update the SS", as if the admins had all the time in the world to read the thread and do it.
We all benefit from the SS and it a constant reminder is good.

2. Although I don't like distrusting people, there has been several fake posts, and even several fake SS entries. Charges way ahead of what they should have been, charges several days after a NOC is capped to give others hope.. I don't get why somebody would do it, but I've seen it happen a few times. So a little distrust is necessary unfortunately.

6. Number 6 burns me up too! I've seen several Brazilians do it and post things in Portuguese! Even if the contents are harmless, it is still unrespectful to the others. Please only post contents in English.

8. While I agree with you that this is not the place for EE, a lot of us won't get PER before the first draw of EE (myself included), so I think it's natural a lot of us are interested. This thread is where most of things are happening on this forum, so it's natural it draws a lot of attention. So I partially agree with you on this one .

Hi, just thought about posting some observations which i detest--

1. Members telling other members to update SS
2. Some strange members not trusting other member's posts for example PPR issuance posts etc, Why do you need proof?? Who are you? :-\
I do not think there is enough time with any1 to mislead people.
3. Asking to reply when a reply was posted long time ago
4. Multiple and duplicate posts as if some1 will answer if you post it 10 times
5. People not saving SS edit/update links :-X
6. Posts in non-english languages
7. -1's which are uncalled for. Will -1 or +1 help you in canada ;D
8. Posts about EE, Isn't there another forum for that?? :-\
9. People not updating complete profile details which show up on left side, Who will steal your info?? or are you just lazy??

Unfortunately about 5% people have forced me to post this!!!!

Grow up people, admins are like you, i am like you and others are like you.
Show some respect, gratitude and trust.

You will require all of this when you land.
