but i think this doesnt count as professional experience as an engineer...
u can better choose some other NOC.
Hi guys, blindvia said:Here's a reference for you to plan your schedule on the PRC ID renewal in Manila.
(Assuming you're going to renew your PRC ID over there.)
I do not know if this process also applies to PRC offices outside Manila, Philippines.
Goodluck Johnfc!
So doest it mean I can apply NOC 2241(technologist/tecnician), even as i am holding a degree???hardworkpays said:match NOC with ur job description.

I am a member of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) and IEEE.roman_raga said:Hi guys,
For this (NOC2133), do one need any kind of Engineering council recognition membership etc. For example as mentioned above of some kind of PRC ID? can anybody explain it if there is above mentioned type of additional document for this NOC is required?

Ok thanks..blindvia said:If your current position/experience is more of a technician than an Engineer, then apply for NOC 2241.
Please read NOC and compare the 2241 to 2133 NOC codes.
goodluck!
Thanks blindvia, but could you please update these numbers weekly or bi-weekly?blindvia said:As of 12-May-2014 (GMT +0800)
Here is an update on the FSW 2014 - 2133 Electrical and electronics engineers
(based on the spreadsheet from the other thread):
Apps in the spreadsheet filed for this NOC --------------------------------------------------------------13
Estimated % of total worldwide applications in the spreadsheet, based on 2013 CIC cap statistics ---------- 20.00%
Estimated acceptance ratios based on 2013 statistics ----------------------------------------------------- 87.00%
Estimated total worldwide # of apps filed to CIC for this NOC by now ----------------------------------------- 68
Estimated total worldwide # of current apps which will be charged and counted towards NOC cap by CIC -------- 59
Estimated % of NOC cap filled --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5.87%
Rather conservative estimate of a date till which it's relatively safe to file your app.
Not proven to be accurate, use with caution. The date will probably increase with time. --------------------------- 11/6/2014
