Yes I was long time away from this forum.
I am fine.But my 3 months' experience in Australia is not good at all.In this period,I applied for many jobs but did not get a single interview call for professional job. Aus government is bringing lot of engineers here but they are not finding any professional job at all.Most immigrants are doing odd jobs.Now a days ,odd job market is also competitive.So,people are spending their savings in Aus. Most frustrating thing is that future is hopeless for professional job seekers.Australia is good for strong laborious persons.If you are a good labor/worker ,you will get higher wage.If you are permanent resident and have kids,you are lucky person as you will get baby allowance from center link.In most jobs here will need cert 2/3 from Australia TAFE ,you will need license etc .This is a policy of Aus govt to invest overseas money in Australia.After completing those courses,there is no guarantee of job.
Here house rent is extreme.Suppose I am paying $ 270 /week for one room unit excluding utility bill.For car purpose,I need to spend more than $120/week.Food is cheaper here.
I came here in wrong time.4 other colleagues who came with me are also jobless.Many local educated immigrants are also jobless now.I shall keep try to find job for few months more,then I may return back to my country.
Australia is good for doctors not for engineers.
Yes I shall try for Canada .Canada is better for engineers.Most of my colleagues got professional job within 3 months.
The above opinion is fully from my personal experience.
I shall miss Get together and Iftar party !
