I am 2013 applicant for Canada under SGVO.Recently I mailed to them asking my application status.They reply that it is under final review stage.I am migrated to Australia with PR visa.Should I notify SGVO of my address change ? Should I notify PR of Australia ? What complexity will arise for it ?
I need expertise advice .Please suggest me.

Its been long time- we have not seen u....

How r u?

Azad vaia, U need to inform SGVO (by CSI) about the change of current address....

And its not mandatory to inform them on what status u r maintaining at AUS (If u dont want to change ur Visa office now).....

And It has no impact...Its legal and should not have any issue....


Vaia, Want to know ur experience on AUS...How is going there..?

Do u have plans to migrate to CANADA--Still?

Please share ur personal views...

Case Pending upto October-8,2013:

MI-1 : 184
MI-2 : 205 &
MI-3+: 337

Total FSW Cases pending 726 upto 08-Oct-13.

UPDATED: Till January-7,2014:

MI-1 : 148
MI-2 : 197 &
MI-3+: 380
Total FSW Cases pending 725 upto 07-January-2014.

During 08-Oct-13 to 07-Jan-14, Last 3 months SGVO completed.......

36 MI-1, 8 MI-2 & -43 MI-3+ cases....

In brief- last 3 months progress only 1 case.


My comments: If the process runs in this speed then SGVO will not able to finish all our cases by 2099.

1. Its was just 725 case remaining on 7th Jan 2014...

2. No other (or very less applicant ) FSW opening / applicant has entered on SGVO. So this 725 case should not be increased.

3. In between this time (Jan to Jun 14) they have cleared several applicants file (MI2+MI3) on this thread....

4. The Annual quota for FSW is 2180 person which should be sufficient...

Yes I was long time away from this forum.
I am fine.But my 3 months' experience in Australia is not good at all.In this period,I applied for many jobs but did not get a single interview call for professional job. Aus government is bringing lot of engineers here but they are not finding any professional job at all.Most immigrants are doing odd jobs.Now a days ,odd job market is also competitive.So,people are spending their savings in Aus. Most frustrating thing is that future is hopeless for professional job seekers.Australia is good for strong laborious persons.If you are a good labor/worker ,you will get higher wage.If you are permanent resident and have kids,you are lucky person as you will get baby allowance from center link.In most jobs here will need cert 2/3 from Australia TAFE ,you will need license etc .This is a policy of Aus govt to invest overseas money in Australia.After completing those courses,there is no guarantee of job.

Here house rent is extreme.Suppose I am paying $ 270 /week for one room unit excluding utility bill.For car purpose,I need to spend more than $120/week.Food is cheaper here.

I came here in wrong time.4 other colleagues who came with me are also jobless.Many local educated immigrants are also jobless now.I shall keep try to find job for few months more,then I may return back to my country.

Australia is good for doctors not for engineers.

Yes I shall try for Canada .Canada is better for engineers.Most of my colleagues got professional job within 3 months.

The above opinion is fully from my personal experience.

I shall miss Get together and Iftar party !

Yes would have been happy if u on the Iftar party....

My immediate older brother have also almost same experience about AUS...

Not a reliable place for professional jobs....

And rental and educational costs are very much high...

As per my brother's opinion- AUS govt is making a business through Immigration....They are doing diplomatic functions by opening and bringing skilled immigrant without ensuring jobs availability ...

Thus they are using this skilled peoples on their lower level jobs...which was supposed to be done with a lower educated and lower skilled person...In this way each of the activities like cooking/cleaning or all uneven jobs are done by this skilled work force....

Definitely this micro level activities are now done more efficiently ...Which is the strategy--To done this works efficiently by less wages


Anyway this is only my family experience....

Few of my acquaintances are in Canada .... they say it is Canada Government that is milking the immigration plot to generate national income ... as official jobs are incredibly less they feel and candidates are numerous ..... but yeah, they also feel Doctors got reasonable prospect there... but IT and engineering field isn't that great... only Mining and related fields are in a nice shape they say...

I feel infusion of this 25000 more applicants will put more pressure in the existing market ....

We'll this has become a big concern now. If sgvo doesn't do any thing this year then it will be very much unfair to 2013 applicants as many 2014 applicants already getting MR. and trying to find a descent job will become a nightmare.

Ya so true. Out of this new 25K+ ... majority will be from Engineering and IT background .... this will put some severe stress on the job market, and our job prospect will become even narrower, as the market is already saturated enough ...! SGVO needs to pick things up real fast ...
