So sad for you buddy, DM prior to MR appears to be a rejection. Howsoever, write an email to LVO, give reference to your PER and file #, ask them to share the basis of DM - this you do right now, without waiting for their details to come to you first. One of my friend who applied in year 2009, also undergone the same sort of rejection, he wrote to LVO asking them to share the details...........................now my that friend is in Canada (in fact he flew two months back from now). Don't wait, write them now.

Apart from that, it appears that LVO has started processing the applications (as in this case the applicant applied on 06th June) so as I see, no news on our ECAS is good news so far.

I think there wont be a straight rejection after receiving PER, CIC will be giving a chance to clarify which comes along with a duration of clarification with local VO, usually Local visa office withh gives you around 30 to 60 days to clarify your position. DM may be an actual NER. There is no DM without receiving PER or NER or MR. This is a very strange case

Don't worry.
They probably haven't started even opening the applications from 24 July yet.
This means your application is sitting in a waiting area with all the others from that application date and there won't be any UCI or file number allocated yet.
You will need to wait two weeks longer.

Hi,

It's been more than 11 weeks since my application was received by CIC. I called CIC at 001-613-944-4000 number to get UCI number. After waiting for few minutes a representative told me that they don't have any information and need to contact Sydeny, NS office. He asked for my email address and I received an email from Citizenship_and_Immigration_Canada @ cic.gc.ca

"Sir, Madam,

Thank you for contacting Citizenship and Immigration Canada. I am pleased to follow up on your request:

Centralized Intake Office: Sydney, Nova Scotia

If you wish to contact the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia, please visit our Web site."

Does anyone here faced similar situation? How to obtain UCI number via phone?

Hi All,

I am starting the process for FSW- Canada today. I need a lot of help here. I found this forum on google and was surfing through this. I found the responses and replies awesome. I have a lot of queries in my mind as any fresh applicant would have. The first and most important is this,

Do i need to have an arranged employment on canada in order to apply for FSW?
If , its not required how will i send the justification for the supporting doucuments which essentially includes job offer and related documents?

Expecting a response from canadavisa team.

Regards

I have already applied for my GCMS notes. Hope to get them in 15 20 days.. That will show if LVO is working on FSW'13 yet or not. Because I am May 10th applicant, so if there's any movement, that will be in the notes, else it's just waiting.

Jigzy,

When is the best time to request for gcms notes? After PER? After AOR? I have received my PER but have not received AOR from my visa office? Thanks!

Hi all

CIC checks IELTS validity of 2 years as on application signing date or as on their initial check date ie after 3 months of filing the application

Thanks

What is GCMS notes????

Congrats for the AOR. It is difficult to judge when u will get ur AOR but you can visit the spreadsheet and get a tentative idea about the same.

Hello forumites, what advise would you give to someone who has got a limited stay where he is resident (3 months) and his visa office has not yet completed his application process for fswp 2013? His application was filed on the 13th of may and PER received since July. Thanks.
