Hi I had applies under FSWP 2132 mechanical engineer & my file reached on 24 September but still
haven't got any reply yet..& seen updates in this category 180 from last week.So anyone please tell me that
about current update or any chances to get under cap??Any hope that I ll fall under 300 files or...????

dear...CIC is currently charging applications of July first and second week..so u hv to wait for atleast 80-85 days from the date of your file receiving at CIC..But as 180 appls have already been processed so at max i think appls recvd upto Aug-10th have a chance to be within the 300 cap...

I am a new member. I applied for FSW in 0211 Engineering Managers Category and as per DHL tracking my application reached Canada Nova Scotia on August 28th. Its been 6 weeks now but i have not received any communication from the Canadian officials.

Can someone tell me what to expect and when can i expect some correspondence to know if i made it within the 300 quota in this category. Also, how will i receive this information from them, will it be via email or postal mail ?

I m from India and my file was rcvd on 5th June it was returned on 8th august by snail mail and i got it back on 25th september nearly fifty days.
Hope this information helps

Thats nearly 2 months. Thanks so much for the info. At least if we know the reason for the rejection while waiting, we can correct the remaining docs in that time. V frustrating.

Be patient. Waiting is the name of the game. Some July applicants are yet to receive PER.

You should wait for your Application to get back to you by snail mail since Applicants in NOC 1112 whose Applications received at CIO after 27th May are out of the cap.

I suppose you are referring to the spreadsheet created by this forum. Even in that upon counting the number of applicants till May 27, 173 people applied.

Got an email from consultant mentioning - my application package was returned from Nova Scotia today.
The cap has been reached for NOC: 1112.

I am sorry to share the news that on the auspicious day of festival Ganesh Chaturti(Hindu festival) , I got a mail from my consultant that my application is returned back as the cap is full for 1112 Financial Analyst.Last 4 months have been a tough time.

CIC is a useless bunch of people playing with our emotions & wasting our money.

Streamlining of the process is required.

Earlier I have been in UK , Germany & Belgium on work permit but never my Work visa was rejected.

CIC is one inefficient organisation which takes more than 4 months to return a stupid application

Isn't it very unfair that applicants under CPPO are ready to start their landing whereas applicants from LVO , NDVO etc are still waiting for any further update or MR request. NDVO is at least sending AORs while LVO is dead silent. Canadian govt and immigration minister should look into this matter and should make sure that processing at all offices happens in almost same time frame or at least in a time frame relative to CPPO ... And if they cannot do this they should either distribute the load to the less loaded offices or should allow other local visa offices and consulates to process the PR applications.... This unnecessary wait is really frustrated....
