I got my letter of references from all my previous employers on company letter heads mentioning company phone numbers but I did not include their mobile numbers or their visiting cards
will that be a problem??

Its at desrcition of CIC whether they get satisfied by calling at ur company phone number.
My consultant told me to provide their business card, so I did that.

You can ask from Municipal Corporation for your birth certificate copy. Moreover, Non-Availability certificate from Municipal Corporation (Birth & Death Deptt.) will be ok and fulfill the criteria.

You should take no data available certificate from the respected grampanchayat or district office where you were born.
then with this certificate u provide school leaving certificate or Driving licence or rashion card anything which states your DOB and make a new one

i have just send my file to CIC NOSO on 10 Aug 2013
i have done all the necessary things in paper work.
i just have a question that
1. i have not submitted my transcripts. i have just send the mark sheet is it OK ?
2. i am getting points of my Uncle but the issue is that he has just landed in Canada on PR on 7 July 2013 So can i claim that points.

Why didn't u send ur ECA? Have u done ur educational credential assessment (ECA) from WES?

hi Mav,

if one is lucky they will get direct medical, else first one can expect is interview and AOR says contact us in case no communication from 6 month of application. ( not sure 6 months after reciept in VO or 6 months from the date application recieved.)
For guess we can take 2 mnths for interview another 2 months for medical and another 2 months for stamping.

Your query went unanswered because no body knows ! There is no MR from the NDVO yet. But my gut feeling is that after receiving AOR an applicant can expect MR in 1.5-2 months' time. My gut feeling is based on the MR from other VOs, who have sent MRs to applicants.

No one can be sure, until we get a few cases here from NDVO. This is my wishful thinking buddy.

Call cic At 1-613-944-4000 there u wil b asked to enter UCI num.. If u hv enter it n then listen to the information recorded bot ur file

Did the d same and IVR says

"file received on 19th June"

My friends in India:

What is the quickest and easiest way to get PCC from India?

I live in the US and got it done from the local embassy but now I need it for my wife. Not sure what is the exact process and what is acceptable by CIC/ NDVO.

I have obtained my PCC in 2 Days in Guujarat
1. go to nearby police station tell them you want PCC
2. he will give you form and you have to give answer to the Nearest police Chocky of your residency.
3. then after that Answer is complete you have to take the papers to the police station back they will sign and give you back in envelop
4. then you have to go to the collector's office and give them to the PCC department then they will sign from the respected officer and give you.

Remember the normal procedure takes 10-15 days.
if you want to speed up u should give something
and one thing carry the pcc papers yourself between the police stations as they are lazy and it will waste your time

Hi Guys,

As I told you earlier, my application got returned , the reason was Form IM0008, page 2 missing. I now checked in the package all the forms were in place. page no 1 & 2 were stuck together. They were not even stuck, but I just tried to separated with my fingers and they separated. God knows how these CIC guys check the application form. Is there anything I can do now, I mean can I make a claim that the application file wrongly returned. Please let me know at the earliest.
