Hi, I have applied for FSWP 2013 NOC 2174 and received a PER few weeks back. Just after receiving the PER, our doctor confirmed of my wife's pregnancy. I have the following questions and need some guidance

1) do we need to inform CIC about this change immediately - The due date for baby is Feb 2014. OR
shall we wait for the medical and then inform them about this. As per my understanding medical (x-ray) cannot be performed when pregnant.

2) Will this xray issue delay the PR process as we might have to wait until the medical is done for my wife

3) what should be the best approach in this scenario?

Any help/advise will be greatly appreciated.

Plz wait for your AOR and then you can inform your VO the same. I guess they will guide you how, when and what evidence and POF you need to supply.

Please let me know what do you think about who should sign the Letter of Refference.

I am preparing the Letter of Reference from previous employer and the HR Manager does not want to put his contact info on the letter, because he does not want to be bothered further.
Is it ok if the Letter will be signed from HR Development Coordinator or is it mandatory to be the manager of department ?

Get it signed by your immediate supervisor or one of ur friend. Write down his/her designation and mobile number.
Attach his/her business card with letter of reference.

I'm kind of nervous now because I see a lot of July applicants and they are worring about CAP under 2147...so the "179" applications under 2147 mean not just # of obtained full packages, but those whos applications are in process? And we, end of August applicants, might not get into quota....

Well, it seems a bit tough for 2147 Aug end applicant to make into CAP. But u have done ur best from ur side, now just hope for the best.

I got my letter of references from all my previous employers on company letter heads mentioning company phone numbers but I did not include their mobile numbers or their visiting cards
will that be a problem??
