how about those who don't have a UCI?

They have to keep calling them and instead of asking the status of application just request them to let know either application is received or not that's it. This is normally works and this is how I did. Once they told me yes we received your application after verifing details than I asked please let me note down my UCI that's it.

If u ask any thing related to status they will not listen you any more and will tell u that sorry we don't have access.

I called around 50 times to get all these details and trust me I got each and every information on call. They confirm me that my application received, later on they confirm that we r reviewing, later on they confirm that Dr encashed, later on they confirm me that every thing is completed and PER is on the way.

Y on the name of RBC... all DD should be on name of receiver general of canada...... Are you talking abt FSWP or other program.??

Yea the DD is issued in the Name of Receiver General for Canada and the Bank Name is RBC , Toronto, ON , and YEa ofcourse i am talking about FSWP. Can you suggest me some ideas?

Also @ Idiots's IELTS and @ nishtal's page 4 of Generic form were lost AFTER performing of completeness check. Otherwise these applications would have been returned earlier.

Guys please help me with this.

I have been reading in this forum that a PCC from all the countries is required where you have lived for more than 6 months since 18 years of age. I tried looking up for it on CIC website but couldn't find it anywhere. Can somebody please share the CIC link which states that. My case is such that I am living in India since Feb 2012 and before that I was in the US for about 3 years (early 2009 - Feb 2012).

Do I need a PCC for the US as well?

If yes, what is the exact procedure?

Browsing through CIC website I understand that FBI issues a Police Certificate. I looked at the CIC website and it says "Processing times are normally between 16 and 18 weeks" - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/united-states.asp

Out of the 2 which one is correct? Somebody who has already applied for US pcc, kindly share your experience.

Our passports have been sent to CHC London on 29th July,2013 upon their request for visa stamping. Out of my curiocity would like to know wheather visas can be refused at this stage as well, if yes what could be the reasons.

First of all, can you please share whether you are a FSW 2013 applicant. That is, have you applied after May 4th, 2013.

i knew you are from Cairo same as me from the sheet, i got my PER on July 12th and so far haven't got any news from Cairo visa office.
i called the embassy but they said that i have to send an email, so i did but no updates regarding the AOR of my file.
lets keep each other updated in case anything new came up.

CONGRAAAAAAATSSS ... But how did u know anbout ur file transfer .. did u receive e-mail from VO or u sent them inquiry and got ur answer back .. have u got any change in ECAS status?? ... PLZ share with us
