i just confirmed this with my bank and they said its not possible to re-validate your dd of foreign currency ???

I am in the same boat, though my application is yet to be received. why did't we consider money order..they never expire

Dear Seniors , I need you urgent guidance and advised.

Here is my story .

1) Appl received on May 16th
2) Called ICICI bank Call Center and they informed that DD is not encashed yet.
3)Additional report requested by CIC through WES email July 26th
4) e- CAS status is showing - In Progress ( Got the UCI number from my Old Visa )
5) PER is NOT received yet.

I got an email yesterday night by WES asking "CIC has communicated with us that they want to review your evaluation report through WES online service" . Immediately I made the payment of $ 67.30 CAD and added CIC as the recipient. Actually ,I did the WES ICAP around Feb and while I filed the application , I generated a duplicate copy around May 5th and send it along the application. Finally I sent a email to CIO Sydney with this latest update.

I read the FAQ web link , but am not sure if that will cause any issue in getting my PER.

Please comment and advice if something else is required from my end. Will they reject my application.

It means I have to wait for PER mail first as I paid via DD. Thinking to call CIO as some of lucky mate got their UCI through phone. What to do? I am May 21st applicant.

Looks like I have no choice but to wait and watch. Though I would really like to let them know that my DD will expire on 17th August.

At cio nova scotia 1st all applications are Sequesntially checked for completeness and whether they fall in quota or not. If ur file is complete then they accept ur paymeny cc or dd. The last stage at cio is eligibility review that involves general security check
And this is the stage where there is actual delaying in issuing PER OR NER coz every apllication require variabke time to asses.
I hope this will address ur queries.

Most of forum members have gone through WES, I guess.

However, I think for some of the professions, you need to get ECS from particular organization, please go through the Instructions Guide carefully before applying for it.

I checked CIC website and I found that there are three organizations which can provide educational assessment ECS
1. University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, Comparative Education Service (CES)
2. International Creditional Assessment Service of Canada (ICAS)
3. World Education Service (WES)
How can I choose between them? Please if anyone has any idea, feed me back ASAP

Is there any recommendation about which organization?

You will receive your PER soon.
Some Applicants received similar email from WES. Subsequently they ordered additional copy as per the direction of WES and received their PER.

Read back some pages, someone in this forum was also asked for online verification by CIC and he/she paid it.
And if Iam not wrong , that person also received their PER after that.

Which NOC? Why are you not there on the spreadsheet man?...You can expect the PER in 7-8 days.

No, I think you can apply to any of them then. I applied through WES (7 day express service). Please send the required documents carefully as instructed on WES website (country specific) to avoid any delays.

However, the decision should be yours.
