Will not harm the procedure. Again it depends on what grounds the application was rejected. If it was on criminal grounds, then one must include it. Home ties, financial issues are very common.

Agreed.

However, if you tick "NO" when you have a rejected visa on what so ever ground will surely put your application on harms way. You are providing false information.

Hi,

If anyone would be interested, what were the processing times, and post-PER refusal rates of applications for MI-3 (July 2011) applicants, I have filtered and shared the data from a public CIC document. Quite interesting numbers, with sections of "X % of cases were completed within X months or less", where I think the 20% and 30% columns are mostly the early bird applicants, while the 70-80% columns are the late applicants. These "number of months" values are counted from date of receipt by CIO, so many of us are already at 2 months.

The data is by number of cases, except "Total # of Visas issued", which is number of persons. It also contains how many cases were refused by CIO by the way.

I hope processing times for MI-8 (which are us) will not be longer.

rawdah,

When do you think that they would start charging 22 and 23 may? I tried checking the online services with an eight digit number that appeared consistently on my previous visits visa to canada but it is saying "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided"

Please could you help comment what that meant? Please other forumites could also help out.

Nice +1 for sharing this with the forum.

I think they will charge 21-May and 22-May Applicants in the coming week (22-july to 26 july) and 23-May and 24-May Applicants will be charged in the following week (29-july to 2-august).
You can try checking again after few days.

Hi friends. Since I haven't heard from CIC, I am beginning to think I should mail in a fresh application as early as next week. The only challenge right now are my IELTS scores. I sent the originals and have only photocopies left. Any advise on how to deal with this? Appreciated!

Ask for a duplicate original IELTS TRF. They will provide it.

Thanks Prince but someone told me they usually mail extra copies to requesting institutions and not to individuals. Can I send photocopies with a cover letter?
