I being in UK requested 1 for myself in 2011, The institute did send me a duplicate copy. ( it was original TRF) . they charged me £25 or £5 i cant remember now. But the point is that I did get one.
Also, they say that If CIC has your originals then u can mail copies and also explaining the reason of rejection which your cover letter will explain.
Hope it helps.

Thanks Prince but someone told me they usually mail extra copies to requesting institutions and not to individuals. Can I send photocopies with a cover letter?

I think they will charge 21-May and 22-May Applicants in the coming week (22-july to 26 july) and 23-May and 24-May Applicants will be charged in the following week (29-july to 2-august).
You can try checking again after few days.

don't say that.. i am done with patience now... :(

Hi Floxzy,

It is mentioned in the document checklist that incase the applicant sent the original IELTS result with a submission of earlier FSW program and application was not returned to the applicant then he/she can submit the copy of IELTS along with an explanation and refusal letter of the application made earlier. (page # 3, point # 9 in document checklist)

Now in your case refusal letter is not there. I think send the copy of IELTS accompanied by an explanation letter and in the meanwhile order another original copy of IELTS, when you get that send it again along with another explanation letter. You should take a chance.

All the best..

Floxzy - This is my view. I don't think you should send photocopies of IELTS as they are likely to be returned. If you did not send your travel form with your initial app, it is definite that CIC will return your app. The transcript is not a killer point as I know a couple of people who got CC charge and they had only put ECA and degree cert. The good point for you is that you are not in a hot NOC. Therefore, I suggest you try to get an original IELTS cert from your testing institution (they may charge a small fee). Also, keep the travel form ready. Once your package reaches to you (or you get a new IELTS cert), you can re-send the whole package in the next day or so (Use UPS). I still feel you have a couple of months still before you start worrying about your NOC sub-cap. Anyway, good luck to you and keep us posted...

We are so sorry Nishtal. I am using an Attorney too but with this awful behaviour from your lawyer, I am becoming apprehensive. I came across this forum recently when I had already submitted my application, otherwise I would have done my filling myself. Reading this forum and the advice given here by forumites are far much more than what I ever got from the so called Immigration experts.

Please go for it yourself. You probably know now more than these 'turncoat' experts by reading the threads here.

Don't believe lawyer.....they are cheating...in my case it was Mr.Walter,were... I ..lost lot of money

Guys, dont you think we should share the lawyers we used here just in case they cheat one, others can be aware of. We can share our own experiences about them as well as create a blacklist ? I am starting to worry about my app cause I use their service :(. Mine is C. Singer group

Hi,

If anyone would be interested, what were the processing times, and post-PER refusal rates of applications for MI-3 (July 2011) applicants, I have filtered and shared the data from a public CIC document. Quite interesting numbers, with sections of "X % of cases were completed within X months or less", where I think the 20% and 30% columns are mostly the early bird applicants, while the 70-80% columns are the late applicants. These "number of months" values are counted from date of receipt by CIO, so many of us are already at 2 months.

The data is by number of cases, except "Total # of Visas issued", which is number of persons. It also contains how many cases were refused by CIO by the way.

I hope processing times for MI-8 (which are us) will not be lon

Thanks for sharing Oszi
one of my friends who is Canadian citizen and practicing as immigration consultant
informed me these cases (fsw-2013) will be finalised with high speed (once the strike ends)
and most of the cases are expected to be concluded within six months
........
hoping so and good luck to all the fourm members........ :)

If possible please revise my application receive date to 27th May 2013.
Thanks.

Hi,

I have included the two experience letters in my application:-

1) It shows that I am working as a financial analyst from last two years and performing the detail duties mentioned in the letter. It also include 2nd page which says that I have been working with the same organization from 7.5 years and what all positions I got during my tenure. But only financial analyst duties are mentioned.

2) I had taken a experience letter dated July 2011 which says I was business analyst and performing the duties for the same in details.

My query is I have included both the letters in my application, and want to claim the points for experience. So, Do you think that checking authority at CIO will check the dates on the letter? As dates will surly make them understand and will not confuse them.

Please comment> ::)
