the bastards returned our application on 11th July....."page 4 of spouse generic form missing"

our canadian "lawyers" swear they sent the complete application and say the "CIC must have lost it"

seeing how they lost some guys ielts they may have a valid argument

anyways although the lawyers have resubmitted the file, we plan to apply ourselves as we dont trust them anymore

any views on re submiting a new pack? all we need to get is new original copies of ielts...

Dear Nishtal,

Sorry to hear about that.

But I didn't get you completely. Do you mean that the application is returned b'coz of missing page 4 of spouse generic form and missing IELTS too ?

Thanks...

No in Nishtal's case page 4 is missing, but Nishtal mentioned about Idoit's case where orginal IELTS marksheet was missing.
Though they both had submitted everything

But in the last line, he is mentioning for arranging the copy of IELTS...

He's thinking of applying by himself again because he can't rely on his lawyers who claimed they have re-submitted his application.
To apply by himself again,he needs to get another original copy of IELTS for this new application

May be because attorney has resubmitted the file with the original IELTS and Nishtal wants to submit another file so for that addtional IELTS might be required.

Oh I got it !! But won't it create a duplication & confusion at CIC as they are receiving application directly too and from a representative also ??

His application was already returned on 11th July...so there is no point of duplication.

No problem with duplication,if one goes through,CIC will simply return the other one

Dear Nishal,

Please, Is it possible to share more info on why your application is rejected and throw more light on the identity of this Attorney. I hope is not the same Attorney that did a scrappy job with Viranee?

Viranee's Attorney did not properly review his JD and he was subsequently disqualified by CIC.

I contracted an attorney too for my application and I am a little bit worried now. :o

My Missing document reached canada yesterday signed by Dexter at 14:05pm. Hope that they consider my request .
My intial application reached there on 29th May.

Now have to wait and watch the CIC game.

yes coz we plan tp apply ourselves too now (second application). our lawyer re-submitted the file without even letting us know that it was returned. it was only when we called cic they told us that our file was returned. So obviously we dont trust our lawyers at all and would want to apply ourselves but since the lawyer already resubmitted the file we wud need to get ielts re-issued.

any views on sending 2 applications...one from our lawyer (already sent) and one thru us (planning to send)

Fear of duplication here is not with the returned application but with the resubmitted one by the lawyers and the one he intends to submit by himself
