Hi Members,

I have a question here on the Credit card.

Some credit cards have become smart cards, where if you try to make a charge anywhere online you get a OTP (One-time Password) on your mobile and only when you enter this password in next 10 mins, the transaction is thro or its declined.

Where are when you swipe the card directly you only get a message.

We never sent our physical cards to CIC, but just the numbers.

Does anyone has any idea how will this work, if there is OTP.

No OTP or secure transaction passwds are reqd for CIC transaction.

I received UCI number and application no. on 15/07/2013
but till now i could not check application status on cic website
which shows the as following:

We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:

Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not yet begun processing it. The following link may help you determine if your application is being processed:
Application Processing Times

Kindly advise

No OTP or secure password will be asked. I had my CC charged on 17th July and I straight away got the message that IMMIGRATION CANADA has charged my CC.

hi, sorry but my cc has not charged actually I called to cic and they told me my uci that's it. They said that application is at very initial stage and getting uci means nothing. I will share my details soon. My mode of payment is dd.

My attorney in Canada today received a rejection letter for my application. The reason for rejection is "job description does not match NOC"

Please update the spreadsheet accordingly.

Please share more details about the JD that you provided and your relevant qualification.
Did you have any securities, shares, valuation experience etc.
